queensguardfox Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Moore to move out on loan http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/leicester-city/transfer-talk/news/championship-duo-eye-moore-loan_206259.html http://www.griffinpark.org/forums/showthread.php?t=115349&s=bf99c7b2c6694c18963cff7fa87f7828&p=2556346#post2556346 Thoughts?
LCFC FOX Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Hopefully he goes back to Brentford. It'd be great for him as he's not playing here. Then hopefully our main CB next season back in the championship...
Buzzell Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Might aswell send him out to get game time if he's not going to be involved in the first team here.
One Legged Beaver Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Best for both parties I would think.
Kitchandro Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 He'll be needed next season. He's still a talented young player, he just hasn't made the step up to this level (yet). A few months getting some game time won't do him any harm, hopefully he'll build up some confidence.
Guest MattP Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Good idea. Better than him sitting on the bench.
MooseBreath Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Good luck to him. Another young player who hasn't made any progress in 18 months. Hope wherever he goes there is some better coaching than he's had here.
shailen Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Needs football to continue to develop, although I hope we do not get left exposed with the injury prone Upson and Huth.
Donut Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 If Watford or Brentford were to be promoted, would they try to buy him?
ADK Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Good move. He's not premier league quality yet but needs to be playing.
NewquayFox Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 He doesn't look fit enough for the Premier League in my opinion, needs game time and a loan would be a good thing for the lad.....
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Good luck to him. Another young player who hasn't made any progress in 18 months. Hope wherever he goes there is some better coaching than he's had here. Or the fact he is playing at a level he has never played at and yet to fully adapt. Remember who gave him his chance in the first team, and 'coached' him into being the best young centre back in the Championship.
Alf Bentley Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Good luck to him. Another young player who hasn't made any progress in 18 months. Hope wherever he goes there is some better coaching than he's had here. I wonder how much of it is down to coaching? His main failing (apart from a bit of positional awareness sometimes) seems to be that he loses concentration and lets opponents make a run on him. Both this season and last, he made a solid start, but then started occasionally switching off in matches - a bit of a problem at Premier level. Maybe he just can't maintain his form and concentration consistently because of his youth and inexperience (centre backs generally mature later than most other positions)? Or maybe he has a problem concentrating on a regular basis, which would be more of a problem.... I'm sure that a loan move would be a good idea for all concerned, so hopefully he can continue to progress and can make the step up.
Out Foxed Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 hopefully they teach him how to play offside
Tielemans63 Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Maybe it is coaching. Maybe he just isn't quite good enough for the prem yet?
Matt Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Hard one because he isn't Premier League quality but neither is Wes Morgan, so do you play Moore instead of Morgan for the reason he is young, he can learn and whilst he isn't good enough he could learn alot from 'on the job' experience, on the other hand it could totally demoralise him and kill his confidence - without knowing the lad that's a hard one to call but I think playing him instead of Morgan could be benefical to him, as I said neither are good enough so we're not exactly losing anything either way.
Collibosher70 Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 I'd pick him in front of Morgan any day
Guest MattP Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 He's over rated to be honest. This probably. People seem to forget he lost his place last season despite it being one of the most comfortable a centre half should have in an awful Championship. It takes a special talent to be a regular Premier player these days. Plenty of time of course for him to develop though.
cullenfox Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Prefer not to lose him. Even on loan. Should have seen more of him this season. Would be vital for next season in Championship.
Dan Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Good move all round. I feel he'll be a Premier League defender one day, that day however isn't today.
Bayfox Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 I'd pick him in front of Morgan any day I'd pick me nose or bum over morgan. but as for liam, difficult one. as we know he can play in the championship. but he isn't get a shot in the top flight.
lestajigs Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 I know a mate who lives in Oakham near where he lives now (burley), he's mates with him, and he's not happy one bit about not getting a chance,
dayday Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 If we are going to persist with 3 centre backs, let him play in the middle with Huth and Wasyl, i think he would excel at this position, plus it takes the pressure of his young shoulders somewhat.
Stadt Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 I know a mate who lives in Oakham near where he lives now (burley), he's mates with him, and he's not happy one bit about not getting a chance, I could have told you that
