Sat 28th - where you gonna go?

Recommended Posts

I'll be at WBA v Southampton through work. Looking forward to seeing a Tony Pulis (or god as someone Leicester fans believe him to be) team up close

Stoke n Palace fans probably of that same opinion too

Obviously you've all got a free weekend with City not playing, but there is still plenty of games on in the County.

A fixture list of all the County sides playing this saturday:

Northern Premier League

Barwell v Skelmersdale United http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/barwell/

Midland League Premier Division

Shepshed Dynamo v Causeway United http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/shepsheddynamo/

Midland League Division One

Hinckley AFC v Coventry Copsewood http://www.hinckleyafc.org.uk/

East Midlands Counties http://full-time.thefa.com/Index.do?league=9775425

Aylestone Park v Greenwood Meadows

Barrow Town v Radcliffe Olympic

Blaby & Whetstone Athletic v Anstey Nomads

Ellistown & Ibstock United v South Normanton Athletic

St Andrews v Arnold Town

Leicestershire Senior Premier Division http://full-time.thefa.com/Index.do?league=651281

Barlestone St Giles v Houghton Rangers

Sileby Town v Caterpillar

Allexton & New Parks v Dunton & Broughton Rangers

Birstall United v St Andrews Res

Earl Shilton Albion v Melton Mowbray

GNG v Desford

Unfortunately Loughborough Dynamo, Coalville, Quorn, Kirby Muxloe, Heather, Thurnby and Oadby all playing away.

Now, me being an Hinckley fan would urge you all to rock up at Heather St John to see us playing Coventry (ok not City, but that can't be a few years away ;) ), but all of those teams on that list would be grateful of just a few extra on their gates and most of them won't charge you more than a fiver.

Is nuneaton playing?

As it is Six Nations weekend I will probably watch that as I'm also a big Rugby fan. Scotland are playing too on Saturday so as they are my 'second' nation, I will likely watch their game against Italy.

Seems weird everyone else playing and only a couple of us aren't due to it being Carling Cup Final weekend.

Not sure what they average but it's not close to 100 whenever I go. Ground being right on the edge of town doesn't help mind.

Think they're second bottom of the UCL Prem at the moment?

2-3 minute walk from me. Go down and watch occasionally

s**thole? Never been, it would be ground number 54 out of the possible 92.

It's my 'hometown' mate, it's dire.

You get some real delusional morons there. I went to a pre-season game with a friend about 3 years ago when they played Millwall. They were all trying to infuse a rivalry, whilst Millwall were just laughing at them.

The ground is situated right in the heart of Gillingham, it's a right dump. It's not dangerous, just laughable. It'll be an experience that's for sure.

Luckily my parents have just moved out to Maidstone, so when I visit I don't lose too many brain cells when I venture outside...

They have some very interesting fans, a one legged heroin addict who gets to every game and cuts himself is top boy at the minute.

Really?

I'm a season ticket holder at the county and this guy doesn't ring a bell!

I'll either be going to Burton on the battle bus but more than likely the missus will drag me to Swansea shopping with the only bonus being able to watch Wales V France on Wind Street.

The late night revellers will be in full flow by the 5pm kick off!
