Buzzell Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 Guaranteed that Bony will bag his debut goal against us.
Guest MattP Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 Can see this being like a lot of others, good performance against a top side but managing to lose by a goal. Aguero is currently the only player that terrifies me for them. Frustrate them and natives will get very restless, they've spent a fortune on average players this last twelve months.
Bettsj2 Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 The only thing we can hope for is between now and the end of the Man City game, the teams around us continue to drop points. We're finding wins so difficult to come by, even 3 points against City doesnt get us off the bottom so its unlikely all of a sudden we'll string 2-3 wins together. The hope is we go into the last 8 games with the gap being around the same. If that happens, we just have to pray for the miracle.
Crinklyfox Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 We can't play like Barcelona so we'll just have to play like Stoke. Expansive attacking will most likely get us slaughtered.
MooseBreath Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 We'll kick of the top-6 form we need to survive with a win against a team on a similar level.
Silverdaz Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 We need to man mark Silva for this one he is the guy who makes them tick expect hammond to come in to keep a close eye on him
BlueBlue Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 We need to man mark Silva for this one he is the guy who makes them tick expect hammond to come in to keep a close eye on him Not sure about a close eye. He might see him now & again.
cc_star Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 Forget this game, the season starts on March 14th and we're on -4pts, maybe more by then
LCCFox96 Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 We have to accept playing these teams we are outclassed everywhere on the pitch. But if we play like we did against Arsenal - minus the sloppy defensive errors - there is no reason we can't knick a point or do a smash and grab 0-1 up there. Its not be unheard of in the past, or even this season.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 Forget this game, the season starts on March 14th and we're on -4pts, maybe more by then Completely agree. Whether we stay up or not will not be about whether we lose to Man City. Most teams lose to Man City. HOWEVER..We mustn't get spanked, cos it could come down to goal difference at the end. It could be that close
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 Forget this game, the season starts on March 14th and we're on -4pts, maybe more by then I'm not confident but frankly, fuk that. We are more than likely going to lose but City are prone to playing like a bag of shit every now and again, they played Barce last night and their at Anfield on Sunday, no reason to write off before we've even played the game. Hull Burnley Stoke and Middlesborough have all gone their and got a result this year. Turn up give it our all on the off chance we pick something up I say.
J.Lisemore Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 If Hull can lead there 0-1 up to the 90th minute, then so can we. But we won't. 4-0 Man City.
Nalis Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 I think its worth Wes injuring Aguero early on (not badly, just to have him hobble off for this game only). Aguero is subbed, Wes is subbed as he's on a risky yellow. We win 1-0. Simples.
Guest Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 Can't wait for the fine margins and unlucky talk after the game when we've narrowly lost.
Corky Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 We'll lose narrowly, play well and everyone will ask why are we bottom?
Guest Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 We'll lose narrowly, play well and everyone will ask why are we bottom? Yep. Rinse Repeat.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 25 February 2015 Posted 25 February 2015 Completely agree. Whether we stay up or not will not be about whether we lose to Man City. Most teams lose to Man City. HOWEVER..We mustn't get spanked, cos it could come down to goal difference at the end. It could be that close Yes, I keep an eye on that, as it's worth a point if were tied third from bottom. We've just got our noses in front, so we don't want to take a hammering.
Ric Flair Posted 26 February 2015 Posted 26 February 2015 There's absolutely no point in Konchesky against this lot, plus we need to get an extra body in central midfield. Kasper Huth Wasyl (Morgan will play) Upson De Laet (Simpson will play) James Drinkwater Cambiasso Schlupp Mahrez Kramaric
filbertway Posted 26 February 2015 Posted 26 February 2015 There's absolutely no point in Konchesky against this lot, plus we need to get an extra body in central midfield. Kasper Huth Wasyl (Morgan will play) Upson De Laet (Simpson will play) James Drinkwater Cambiasso Schlupp Mahrez Kramaric Thought were were planning playing the narrowest formation in footballing history for a moment till I saw Schlupp in there. I'd like to see that line up given a crack to be fair. Though I'd probably have the Hame-ster in for Kasper. I imagine it'll be big Mark though.
Fox42 Posted 26 February 2015 Posted 26 February 2015 6-0 Man City. Desperately in need of a wake-up call.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 26 February 2015 Posted 26 February 2015 we never get thrashedwe never get thrashed were leicester citywe never get thrashed
Monsell1976 Posted 26 February 2015 Posted 26 February 2015 But I think we will get thrashed in this one, they get beat in Europe, they were free scoring before, I think we will be the confidence boost they need. Only an opinion
Swiss_tony Posted 26 February 2015 Posted 26 February 2015 we seem to be able to get other teams to go back to winning ways. i can't call it, it could be another plucky defeat or we could get tanked. i think it's all up to which man city turn up, not us.
