alanf0x Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Joined Ipswich on loan for the rest of the season. Good move for him!
MC Prussian Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Joined Ipswich on loan for the rest of the season. Good move for him! So it wos Woods disguised as Knockheart in talks with the Tractor Boys - PEARSON OUT! What appalling man-handling!! Rather than taking the mick, now the Mick's taking him. (On a serious note, I do hope he does well at Ipswich)
lgfualol Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Good move for him. Shame he didn't get picked more but apart from Everton he looked terrible. Needs a big confidence boost and start scoring more, I still think he has good potential.
Benguin Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Big fan of Chris Wood and hope he does great at Ipswitch
Fox92 Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Good move for all involved. Should be ok at Ipswich, under a good manager and joining a solid team.
ScouseFox Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 ipswich have made daryll murphy look like one of the best strikers in the championship so if he starts every game wood will probs finish as the league's top scorer even if he's only there 2 and a half months
MooseBreath Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Good move, will be interesting to see if he can reproduce the scoring ability he showed for Millwall but never really had a chance to show here. If so I can see him being a big part of our promotion push next season.
LCCFox96 Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Good loan move for him. High flying team where he will get some pitch time. Hopefully he rediscovers some form there too. Good luck Woody!
Head Honcho Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Good move should have seen more of him this season before Kramaric arrived. He'll do well at Ipswich their away form is letting them down this season but they should reach the play-offs if not automatic.
Jimmy Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 I do wonder if he'd been given the same amount of game time as Vardy and Nugent how many goals he would have gotten
Soar Fox Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 I do wonder if he'd been given the same amount of game time as Vardy and Nugent how many goals he would have gotten Jamie Vardy 24 appearances 1 goal Chris Wood 9 appearances 1 goal
Smiithy Fox Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 You wouldn't see Ulloa doing that. Clinical
LCFC FOX Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Good luck Chris, hopefully you get your confidence up and you can bang them in for us next season!
Jimmy Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Jamie Vardy 24 appearances 1 goal Chris Wood 9 appearances 1 goal Yes that was kind of my point
RedSoxUK Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Jamie Vardy 24 appearances 1 goal Chris Wood 9 appearances 1 goal Irrelevant, Matty James who has 0 goals is far more important to have on the pitch than the strikers. You can't put a strikers goal / game ratio without considering how they performed / what they did. Vardy came on vs Everton and managed to get two assists getting us a point - literally being credited with the goal from Cambiasso's reaction. He also scored and got all 4 assists vs United, and i'm sure he's got a bunch more assists and various decent stats which outweigh his contribution over Chris Wood. Also completely different players.
Dickov22 Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 I do wonder if he'd been given the same amount of game time as Vardy and Nugent how many goals he would have gotten Probably 0 seeing as he's a slow lump who doesn't challenge for headers. As poor as Vardy and Nugent have been, they've stil created plenty. Vardy assisted 4 v Man Utd plus 2 at Everton, plus the Nugent goal at Liverpool etc. Doubt Wood would have done anything similar. He's crap
David Hankey Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Like Moore Wood needs to play. What is the point of having a car and leaving it in the garage. I hope this will give the opportunity to get some games in but whether he's Premiership standard we'll probably never know.
weller54 Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Decent championship striker!.. Way out of his league in the premiership.. Like quite a few of our players unfortunately!!
SecretPro Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 Haha, all this love for Wood. He's shite. Good lad though. Good luck to him.
Bettsj2 Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 What is the point of having a car and leaving it in the garage. Depends on the age of the car and how it responds to bad weather conditions. I had this one vehicle and if #CARBANTZ
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 27 February 2015 Posted 27 February 2015 The very best of luck to Wood in his loan move to Ipswich Town. I believe he has potential, and hopefully his move to Ipswich will be beneficial to him.
