Domsdad Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Just watching and when asked which 3 teams he thinks will go down Paul Merson reckons he has a feeling that we will get out of it! Just saying.......

Danizen Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 He watched our game against Man City. He probably doesn't know it's the same story every week.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 He watched us against the big sides recently in which we always perform, I don't think he's seen us get done over by the better organised "lesser sides" and look toothless.
Fox92 Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 He said the same thing on Soccer Saturday yesterday. There was a little bit about us (even though we wasn't playing). Said we were "unlucky" in terms of decisions - especially Wednesday night and at Anfield - and we always give it a good go regardless of who we play.
Webbo Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 I'm sure there was a thread on here at the start of the season with Merson saying we were certain to go down and everyone on here calling him a twat for it.

Burnley haven’t got any money and it was a miracle how they got up – Sean Dyche should be knighted for going getting promotion on that wage bill – but this is a bridge too far. Leicester is a lovely place and a beautiful ground – I’ve played there – and I just fear teams will turn up and want to play there. There’s no fear factor. As for West Brom, they’ve been hovering around relegation for a few seasons and sooner or later you’re going to go. While Joleon Lescott is a good buy, I don’t think they’ve majorly improved and the manager, Alan Irvine, is a very good coach, but sometimes it doesn’t work when you give a coach the top job. Brian Kidd was one of the best around and he got relegated with Blackburn. What the ****
Brainy Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 I think there was a match before the end of last year he said that if we don't win its curtains for us. May have been Sunderland at home
LCFCtotheprem Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Watched the most recent 100% lcfc video and Youngy was saying the same thing that we just have to keep positive and sing before and throughout the game as it keeps the players going COYB
billyn88 Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 You're better off with the sound on mute and just looking at the score on soccer Saturday than listening to this idiot.
m4DD0gg Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 At least he is saying nice things about us (no matter how drug induced) unlike that fat old caaaant jimmy greaves....remember him.

ousefox Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 If we lose to Hull then there is absolutely no way back. Please don't play 541 Nige.
LedStar Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Football pundits are like arseholes, they've all got opinions!! Paul Merson was a good footballer, but who can predict the future? Whatever will be will be. If we beat Hull City, then my optimism will increase, but I am not too interested in what football pundits think, very few of them seem to have any real foresight and they all seem to follow this weeks trend.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Hull is must win. We'll have a small chance if we win. Curtains if we lose
bovril Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 If we beat Hull and the other teams pick up a couple a few points we still don't have much of a chance.
dogadug Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 If we beat Hull and the other teams pick up a couple a few points we still don't have much of a chance. Yes we do
bovril Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Yes we do Sunderland are playing Villa. So best case scenario is we'll be 4 points behind with a game in hand, vs Chelsea.
ScouseFox Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 If we beat Hull and the other teams pick up a couple a few points we still don't have much of a chance. burnley should lose to city, sunderland and villa are playing each other, hull are playing us. so if we win we will definitely make up 3 points on hull, worst case scenario 3 points on sunderland, ok scenario 2 points on sunderland and villa, good scenario 3 points on villa. probably 3 points on burnley, hopefully 3 points on qpr (away to palace). then we have a chance. this probably won't happen though but here's hoping.
Frost Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Sunderland are playing Villa. So best case scenario is we'll be 4 points behind with a game in hand, vs Chelsea. Only 1 point after that then
ScouseFox Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Sunderland are playing Villa. So best case scenario is we'll be 4 points behind with a game in hand, vs Chelsea. could look at it as our game in hand being vs swansea (h) though cos that's when we next play and villa don't, due to their cup semi final. that looks much more fun, 4 points behind with a game in hand at home o swansea. we're staying up.
Fox92 Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 If we lose to Hull then there is absolutely no way back. Please don't play 541 Nige. If he plays 451 at home then I really do despair.
