separator Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Harry redknap, if that's how you spell it, did it to a sky bloke, but worse, and not under his breath, it's on YouTube somewhere, quite funny really, when the Sky bloke begs it, saying please Harry I didn't mean it, or words to that affect Hate to think what would happen if you called Nige a wheeler dealer
Monsell1976 Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Hate to think what would happen if you called Nige a wheeler dealer it's the ooh Harry, I didn't mean it like that bit that makes me laugh.Pearson this season, if asked that question would be on remand now, if I was the press, prior to the interview I would ask what can I talk about. Maybe then he actually might get a response, like talking about the weather, or his holidays fighting wild dogs, anything that isn't about football really, because they are wasting their breath.

'i'm a facking football manager' at the end cracks me up
nettle Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Fair play to the mods for removing AKCJ's ridiculous personal insult. If thats what football discussion has come to, then its a sad day. Why what did he say?
Soar Fox Posted 17 March 2015 Posted 17 March 2015 Fair play to the mods for removing AKCJ's ridiculous personal insult. If thats what football discussion has come to, then its a sad day. Hopefully the mods will give him a ban, he resorted to personal insults to me the other week after the Aston Villa game.
stingray Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 Spurs fans on Pearson: "Pearson is such a horrible p***k. I'd like to see them relegated just so I don't have to hear his humourless, bullying schtick next season. Expect the team to bounce back from yesterday's omnishambles.2-1 Spurs." http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/tottenham-hotspur-v-leicester-city-home-21st-mar-3pm.14031/page-2

danfox76 Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 Personally i think we have an honest bunch of players, and that reporter was trying to paint a bad picture of them, Pearson has my full respect for sticking up for our team.. that reporter was just a sh1t stirring piece of crap, and Pearson made him look very idiot
Bettsj2 Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 Schtick? Spurs fan in dictionary swallowing incident.
desertfox2 Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 That Arry clip made my day... I ain't a facking weela deela.... It's me dog rosie your after..
TheMightySystem Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 BBC Sport- Hull charged by FA for failing to ensure players conducted themselves in orderly fashion when hull players surrounded the ref for the challenge on Mahrez by Alex Bruce. Think this is the right place to put it
Corky Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 Although Pearson was wrong in what he said, Bruce should be criticised for his incorrect observations. It was clear the Hull players were the aggressors when surrounding the referee.
Webbo Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 Schtick? Spurs fan in dictionary swallowing incident. Its not an uncommon phrase and it is from Yiddish.
inckley fox Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 Although Pearson was wrong in what he said, Bruce should be criticised for his incorrect observations. It was clear the Hull players were the aggressors when surrounding the referee. Definitely. I wasn't in England at the weekend and was screaming about this, our players were reacting to the Hull players surrounding the referee, they weren't the ones surrounding him. I only wish Nige had had the composure to explain this to his journalist friend, calmly, instead of giving it his usual 'I'm a hard man' act.
Fox92 Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 Definitely. I only wish Nige had had the composure to explain this to his journalist friend, calmly, instead of giving it his usual 'I'm a hard man' act. I've seen him laugh and joke with reporters before but these particular ones were not true and repeated. Nigel answered 'no' yet repeatedly got asked the same question.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 Definitely. He just doesn't have the sense to keep his mouth closed, in public.
MC Prussian Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 He just doesn't have the sense to keep his mouth closed, in public. You mean apart from 99% of all cases, with the remaining 1% being blown out of proportion and used against him by people who have never liked him in the first place? And I agree, Pearson is the only manager I've ever known who just couldn't keep his mouth shut in public.
JonnyBoy Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 I know I shouldn't but I find that interview hilarious
Monsell1976 Posted 18 March 2015 Posted 18 March 2015 He just doesn't have the sense to keep his mouth closed, in public. He has the sense, but after everything he's got away with this season, him and his ego probably don't give a ****, as he must feel bullet proof, after getting away with the antic's, and a shambles of a season.
Babylon Posted 19 March 2015 Posted 19 March 2015 Some rather interesting context behind the incident from Rob Tanner. Seems like the oh so innocent journalist, perhaps isn't quite so lovely an innocent. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Rob-Tanner-s-blog-manager-s-life-Premier-League/story-26201054-detail/story.html?utm_content=bufferb837d&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Fox92 Posted 19 March 2015 Posted 19 March 2015 I know I shouldn't but I find that interview hilarious I think most people do. Me included.

Not sure what the journalist expected.
johnny the fox Posted 19 March 2015 Posted 19 March 2015 Think Pearson was riled before the waxing and waning comment but not surprised that comment tipped him over the edge. Not sure what the journalist expected. so why give them the headline story they wanted? to be goaded by a moron doesn't say much for him does it..
