hornyhollthefox123 Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Was away for the Hull game so I'll try and avoid too many negatives. Prior to the Hull game though we'd have surely taken 4 points from Hull & Spurs combined, so a win there puts us back on track. We've done it once already at White Hart Lane so why not again.. Granted I missed the Hull game but I'd go Schwarzer De Laet Huth Morgan Konchesky Mahrez James Cambiasso Schlupp Kramaric Vardy

st albans fox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 We surely won't play 5 at the back against their 1 up front? Yes we will.
Osavo Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Hamer De Laet Huth Upson Konchesky Mahrez James Cambiasso Schlupp Vardy Kramaric But we all know that it will be 5 at the back again.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 We surely won't play 5 at the back against their 1 up front? Yes we will. Don't be so disrespectful towards our glorious leaderI mean so he's totally ****ed up and ruined the best chance we've had at premier stability in more than 10 years but hey ho the bloke got us up last season . . .
lgfualol Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Might as well go for it.. Schwarzer De Laet Huth Wasilewski Konch Cambiasso James Mahrez Nugent Vardy Kramaric Subs. Schmeichel, Morgan, Drinkwater, Ulloa, Albrighton, Hammond, Schlupp
Legend_in_blue Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 If he's going to persist with 5 at the back he needs to play a central midfield 3, which means dropping Mahrez. Up front put Kramaric, just off Ulloa, in his more natural position. Vardy to miss out. Although stating the obvious above, our master tactician will see it otherwise.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 I think NP will be thinking something like this Schwarzenegger Simpson Wasilewski Morgan Huth Upson Konchesky James Cambiasso Mahrez Schlupp Gives us a lovely solid 6-4-0 formation That was we can secure a lovely 0-0 draw if we are really really lucky I mean we don't actually need to win the game do we?
st albans fox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 A draw would be a bonus point and mean that a draw at home to chelsea would put right the Saturday result. However, the chances of us not losing quite a few games before the season is done is also small so a load of draws is not going to help in the end.
TMELcfc Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Don't see why Was doesn't start ahead of captain calamity or why James is picked instead of Drinkwater, but people are allowed their opinions. I'd go for: Kasper De Laet Huth Was Konchesky Drinkwater Cambiasso Hammond (if he's fit) Vardy Ulloa Nugent And I don't know how many times we have to play without him until we all realise, without Nugent, we create nothing! I know he doesn't score enough but he is always an option for a pass and makes space for others, he links midfield and strikers.

Dickov22 Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Time for Mahrez to sit a game out. Replace him with DD
J.Lisemore Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Nobody will guess the actual line-up for the game. That's what its come to.
Guest MattP Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Schwarzer De Laet Wasyl Huth Konch James Cambiasso Hammond Mahrez Vardy Ulloa
ealingfox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 If we were to win this it would make up for Saturday no? Doubt anyone would have complained about beating Hull and getting a point v Spurs. However in all likelihood we will play well and lose 2-1 or 3-1 as usual.
Fox92 Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 352 with wing backs. If we want to persist with 5 then it's got to be five and a three across midfield. We lack pace with a two man midfield (of James and Cambiasso) so Drinkwater is in to provide that considering he's the only midfielder that has that bit of drive. Not bothered if Nugent or Vardy starts with Kramaric, just give the lad a strike partner. Schwarzer De Laet -- Wasyl -- Huth -- Upson -- Schlupp Drinkwater -- James -- Cambiasso Vardy/Nugent -- Kramaric
Swarles Barkley Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Kasper De laet Wes Huth Schlupp Drinkwater James Cambiasso Nugent Kramaric Vardy
Finn Claw II Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Don't care but 4 at the back, 5 in midfield and whoever is up top needs to stay in and around the box not on the wing.. Will be 5 at the back and we will lose

Mahrez could always come on as a sub and shake things on if its not working.
cc_star Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Schmeichel RDL- Wasilewski - Morgan - Konchesky Mahrez - Drinkwater - James - Schlupp Vardy - Nugent
Sunbury Fox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Schmeichel RDL- Wasilewski - Morgan - Konchesky Mahrez - Drinkwater - James - Schlupp Vardy - Nugent I was also thinking that Pearson should now go back to most of last season's team and just tell them to play at pace and attack, just like they did in getting promoted. At least they would all know what their roles are. I'd make 3 changes to your suggested team, though - I'd go for Jeff at LB, not Konch, I'd play Albrighton RW and have Huth in place of Morgan.
