Halfsy Posted 26 April 2016 Share Posted 26 April 2016 Good evening all. I'm sure this thread has been posted before, so mods feel free to merge if required. But with City on the verge of our first top-flight title I have been asked to come up with my personal all-time Leicester City XI and was just wondering how many of the current crop of players would you put in yours? I have managed to narrow it down to 26 players, but would struggle to justify putting in club legends that I never saw play. What would your all-time Leicester City XI be? Gordon Banks Peter Shilton Kasper Schemichel Colin Appleton John Sjoberg Graham Cross David Nish Dennis Rofe Steve Walsh Matt Elliott Wes Morgan Lenny Glover Keith Weller Jon Sammels Alan Birchenall Muzzy Izzet Neil Lennon Danny Drinkwater N'Golo Kante Riyad Mahrez Arthur Chandler Arthur Rowley Frank Worthington Gary Lineker Emile Heskey Jamie Vardy
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 April 2016 Share Posted 26 April 2016 Way before my time but from speaking to others, Davie Gibson has to make that list.

st albans fox Posted 26 April 2016 Share Posted 26 April 2016 Birch and sammels not good enough for that list. good pros but not good enough for an all time team. Kasper isn't anywhere near shilts and banks as a keeper. I doubt banks could distribute like kasper though.

ceredigion Posted 26 April 2016 Share Posted 26 April 2016 I'll go on a slightly different tack and pick players who were crap, who we knew were crap and who knew themselves that they were crap, but for various unfathomable reasons were liked, admired and occasionally loved by the crowd. Zeljko Kalac Alan Paris Jimmy Willis Bob Hazell Geoff Scott Garry Coatsworth Pat Byrne Colin Gibson Jamie Lawrence Ian Ormondroyd Iwan Roberts
