As for this "'Arry has done well in the Premier League before" legend, I suggest you look at the players he signed, what transfer fees he paid and what the transfer balance is overall. He also led Portsmouth to the brink of bankruptcy. Done quite well. Yeah. Signing expensive players doesn't make the team better - as demonstrated by last season's outcome in the Championship. He took a spurs team from bottom to champion league football over big spending Man City and took them to the quarter finals and finish 4th but Chelsea won the champions league ... Of course you gotta spend big to get champions league football but he spent no more then the rest At west ham he developed Lampard, Defoe, Joe Cole and Rio ferdinand ... took them into europe aswell ... No, people are laughing because Redknapp said that QPR shouldn't be paying extortionate wages to older players and they would not do that again this time around. I happen to think Ferdinand is a good signing for a year, but posters are calling out the contradictions in Redknapp's comments and actions.
