lol

Today buddy I cannot recollect he put a foot wrong (Cambiasso). Lovely performance. Same again next week would be smashing.

Added to that is Huth who clearly looks every bit a Premiership centre back.

Finally, I'm well chuffed for King who for months on here has been slated.

You get far too much flack on the cambiasso situation.

Whenever you've posted on his poor performance etc you've usually been right on him.

One quality game in 5 doesn't make a player amazing, you just have to judge the situation as it happens. Which is what you do.

If we are playing absolutely terrible or a specific player is having a mare, I'll say it there and then, too many people forgive bad performances just because they've been good in previous matches, that's not how progress works.

Fair play everytime he's played a cracking game, you've come out and put your hands up, then people act like its a massive shock....

Cambiasso has been class today but he's been almost dreadful quite a few times this season.

Let's hope he can play like this for the final 8!

Let's keep it going

With you Bob, could pull them up, was never an accomplished performance, but sod it, I don't care how we did it, it just feels great to win again.

I believe again.

Vardy may not have all the poise but the best player for me out there AGAIN!

Kramaric looked excellent in an attacking team today, must start in the next for either Nuge or Ulloa.

Albrighton for Mahrez was a great change - I'd drop Mahrez to the bench for the next match.

Wasyl in for Morgan

Need to do something to change the midfield too.

what a game. And a win for a change.

Sorry I didn't see it was you! Thing is shite like that does get posted!!! Ha.

lol! *high five*

Anyone know how to get emoticons on iPad?!

@Lee - not sure he is too good. Some of his passing is off - and would be to anyone (but we know he's never been Xavi). Today however he showed what a good leader he is. Reads game well (which led to his goal) and overall, I think you can tell he loves playing for the club and has a great relationship with Nige (lovely little cuddle at the end).

Think people are being harsh on James. He does the water carrying, made a lot of interceptions (2-3 really key ones today) and is the legs for EC. He did that last season too with DD but DDs legs and drive are more than EC so the even balance has gone and MJ now looks like he is making less of an impact. My real worry with our midfield is that we back off a little too much for this league and then dove in at the last second as we remember to press leaving space between them and back four and leaving us a little exposed. Not just us though, noticed if from Burnley and QPR too. Guess it's the biggest difference in leagues. Midfielders who pick a pass more often and strikers that punish you.

Today is a happy day though. We won!

I am back to show my appreciation for Cambiasso, absolute class was a pleasure watching him today.

Big thank you to Schmeichel & King for playing there part as well.

Now I'll piss off...Keep the Faith :D

Problem with cambiasso for me is that he's probably actually too good for us...

The majority of his game is smart, something our squad isn't.

He has some absolute mares at times but I can't help think if he was playing in a team like inter still, those through balls and stray passes would probably have a team mate on the end of them.

I've said that a lot, his speed of thought is so far ahead of the rest, they make him look bad sometimes.

Not saying he never makes a mistake, but with a bit better quality around him, he would still look the top player he has been, all of his career.

Think that's spot on. His football brain is much quicker than anyone else in the side but then again that's why he's won just about everything and played at real madrid and inter. Must be great having him around the training ground. Really hope we can stay up and see him for another season as now he seems to be settling can see him having a great season next year hopefully for us. He's still got a few seasons left in him, seems a model pro so sure he would have looked after himself through his career and never been a pace player, doesn't need to be with his vision. On his way to becoming a legend if we stay up?

Just took a screenshot of people agreeing with me and im getting it printed and put on my wall

I think people are still delirious from the win. Fill your boots son!

one minor disappointment was once again that mahrez was pretty shit. was sensational at arsenal about 8 weeks ago and since then has barely beaten a man, barely completed a through ball or a cross and barely looked interested.

I think he could potentially be hailed as a legend if he helps us like he did today and keeps us up, then next season plays the same and gets us a bit more "safe"

Be brilliant if he definitely sticks around in the coaching aspect afterwards.

He knows football inside out and potentially could be a manager, maybe not with us but you can't get much better experience in the coaching staff!

I'm hoping this rare occasion gives us an opportunity to become closer haha

Very strange when he stopped when he could have had a shot early on in the game, not like him at all. Rest on the bench could do him nicely.

guessing it was the same incident but when nuge played him through in behind his full back? and he sort've took it onto his wrong foot, further out wide and then passed it backwards. albrighton is no saviour but he did improve us down that wing i thought.

Cheers bud. All I try to do is to give some balance to it. Today, Cambiasso was tremendous (so I say so). The previous two games he was pants (so I say so).

When he contributes to the team like he did today, he's worth his weight in gold the little bald beauty.

Another few of them and he could be a massive influence in us staying up (crikey, my bet might still be on!)

lol

I agree with most things you said until you went in bare back on Col haha...

Cambiasso has never looked awful in any game this season. Yes, he has made a few stray passes but he has bossed the midfield in pretty much all the games we have played. It's what has happened infront & behind him that has cost us points.

The split second descion making, commandment, awareness and composure are 4 if the things that make a great footballer. That's why Jeffery will never play for Real Madrid.

Just back. I think that's the first home win I've been at this season. cambiasso is a fvcking god.

I've not been down since Villa, and I've seen us win 3/3 at home this year (was at Newcastle in the cup too). Just saying.

We're still going down.

Booooooo, Mee-9. Boo.

On another note kasper looked better than he has done since his return today

Yep i'll agree with that.

If someone's crap and made mistakes i'll note it but credit where credit is due he looked improved today.

Still think Hamer's been harshly treated but that's another discussion, however in comparison, people slag Hamer's kicking off, what about Schmeichel in about the 30th minute today :nigel: . Anyway i'm going off on a tangent, he looked good and hopefully it'll continue!

Great display today prob going to get slated but who gives a flying fook !!?

But wasn't over awed with nugents shclupp and vardy's performances today nuge missing the penalty and a few other shots on goal shcluppy his shooting at times and inability to pass vardy's pace is blistering but if he would have just passed a second earlier rather than going for glory would have been easier on us in the last few minutes !!

But all in all great spirit from our lads pity albrighton didn't come on a lot earlier thought some of his crosses were superb and kramaric with the ball at his feet superb God knows why Pearson doesn't play him more often in a role like today !

My MOTM today has to be cambiasso pure class and leadership !

Ref watch thought clatternberg had a great game calm and non arrogant as nige would say but one of our best if not best referee !

Great win confidence will be high for our next game and let's hope all the rest above us fook it up and we pass them by !!

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS AND IN THE GREAT ESCAPE WE BELIEVE !!
