ScouseFox Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 yes so i could use saturdays (or whatever other days) as an escape when i began to hate spending time with my wife
davieG Posted 7 April 2015 Author Posted 7 April 2015 Depends whether she was a virgin or not. Not as important as their team allegiance - surely.
Benji Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Yes. Wouldn't marry a girl with any affiliation or knowledge of football for purely sexist reasons.
Renart Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Can you add 'I'm going to be married to a non-LCFC fan'. Getting married next year to an Irish girl. She has next to no interest in football (she loves rugby) although I have managed to get her to two Leicester games: Millwall away last year (I know, I know, what an introduction) and Man Utd at home this year (quite an amazing first home game). Hang on, we won both of those games.... maybe I should be encouraging her to come with me to more!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 I did, but converted her... though she still likes to look out for Liverpool's results too.

Larry_LCFC Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 My religion says I cant. Must have been born on the pitch otherwise it cant happen.
MPH Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 about 15 years ago My girlfriend at the time was from Denmark. I paid her the ultimate compliment of inviting her to a Leicester game. I even offered to pay for her ticket. She asked if she could bring a book. It didnt last long.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 My girlfriend is a Sheff United season ticket holder and has been for 5 years, she's determined any children we have will support United. To begin with I thought she was joking, now I'm genuinely concerned she's serious. Still, my ex a few years back was a Cov fan, onwards and upwards.

I have to put my own needs first.
Xen Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Partner isn't really into football, but from Durham so he says he's a Newcastle fan if asked. In reality, he just enjoys taking the p!ss out of Leicester (the city as well as the football club) at every opportunity. Last season was fun. This season, not so much. Working on converting him, though this season certainly hasn't helped...
Guest Bilo Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Depends whether she was a virgin or not. If she's a Forest fan with a brother, she won't be. Unless she's a sprinter or a wrestler.

Fox92 Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 I'm more interested in a girls music taste, not particularly bothered if she likes or doesn't even like football.
pSinatra Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 I went out with a girl from Derby for a few years. When we first met I wasn't sure I could go through with it - with Derby being worst than any other club I can think of. She wasn't into football, but her family were big supporters of Derby - her Dad & brother were STH's. I thought it would be terrible being surrounded by Derby fans but it was fantastic. I loved ripping it out of their shite team. Went away for a weekend & on leaving we decided to write a comment in the hotel guestbook. She wrote her name, from Derby, lovely hotel, blah blah. All I wrote in the book was 'Sheepshagger' next to her name. She wasn't impressed. I thought it was hilarious.
Webbo Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 If Rachel Riley supported Forest, would I care??? Worse, she supports Man U.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Wouldn't bother me if she loved or hated football as long as I get the first opportunity to brainwash the kids into LCFC. That all said, I probably won't find anyone to marry anyway so it's all a bit irrelevant
mrgarrison16 Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 Engaged to a brum fan. Never been an issue bar from the bi annual head to head match day, except this year obviously. I reckon she loves football more than I do, makes Saturday night tv viewing a very short discussion, pretty sweet.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 Wouldn't bother me in the slightest either way.
Crinklyfox Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 I did - on the plus side she wasn't a fan of any other team.
