WBA Post Match 2-3

I'm a big King fan but I'd stick with James and Cambiasso for the time being. King's a good option off the bench and should definitely come in if we go to a 3 in central midfield at any point.

King played in our good spell at the start of the season, he just gives us more steel in the midfield and knows how to attack with the ball, James is more defensive but can be a bit of a headless chicken at times and is poorer in attack and those shots he tries can be cringe worthy.

I take issue with the phrase that AK gives us more 'steel' than 'MJ'. Also, AK, is not renowned for attacking 'with the ball' - he generally drifts forward without the ball.

From what i saw, AK helped us to keep possession by playing simple passes rather than more adventurous stuff MJ is prone to. Given we were trying to build forward momentum, keeping the ball was essential to this. Perhaps a lesson for the management there - manage the ball better and win the game!

Perfect summary.

Just a quick question why do you never see the likes of seenitall, nettle, buzzy etc celebrate wins? Are they actually Leicester City fans? All gone quiet lads.

I'm still here Ginge all I wanted from Pearson was to have a go at teams which is what we are doing now and look what results that brings us. Leicester born and bred mate so don't doubt my love for Leicester.

Absolutely spot on.

King made a massive difference yesterday. We suddenly kept the ball and stopped bloody launching it.

We are SUCH a better team when we play it through the midfield rather than launching it time after time. Pearson has never succeeded with this tactic. Just like last season...yesterday's second half was City at its best.

King made a big difference.

How old are you actually? Not very old I wouldn't have thought I was probably watching Leicester when you weren't even a stain on your old man's pants!

That's your best response? I'm older so shut up?

Seriously though, you're one of the first to be out there complaining when we lose, but very slow to post when we win - why? What possible enjoyment do you get from watching football if you can't ever be happy at a win.

Who said I wasn't happy?

If you actually look at some of my posts I just wanted Pearson to set us up with a positive intent. For a good chunk of the season he wasn't that was my biggest gripe is that such a bad thing?

That really was the Vardy of last season, bullies a defender, runs with purpose and cool finish.

Basically the same as the goal he scored against Millwall except a much better finish.

In hindsight, I have to laugh at West Bromwich fans singing "Leicester's going down, they're going down,..." during large stretches of the game yesterday.

We're not down yet. :)

'You're going down with the Villa...'

Yes lads, they are winning 1-0. They don't like you mocking boing boing.

I thought the game passed James by a bit yesterday, not one of his better games.

King offers something that none of our other midfielders do off of the bench; he completes the vast majority of his passes AND gets forward.

Stick with James + Cambiasso for the time being but King is streets ahead of Drinkwater in terms of competition for a midfield 3.

Whats happening with Deano?!

Loads of Wolves fans congratulating us at New St lol

Yeah I went back to a pub in Birmingham and there was loads of Wolves fans there so was chatting to them, they were congratulating us and wishing us well, I said I hope we're playing them next year in the Prem!

I asked them how Stearman was doing, they said he was their player of the season!! :crylaugh:

(He was great in his first season for us, but after that he was dogshite, they said he did a similar thing with Wolves but then got sent out to Ipswich on loan and came back a new player, playing really well)

Beautiful to see the 'told you so' fans be able to poke their heads up again - Nige is back as the messiah and they never doubted him.....was travelling all day yesterday so difficult to post but managed to get a signal on Radio 5 and was ecstatic that we won - just think, with decent management it could have been like this way more often.........

Vardy outstanding.

Schlupp a terror

Pass of the game from James for our first goal.

Cambi ghosted past by the scorer for their second, on the line to stop their first but unlucky.

Nuge involved in everything positive for City.

Wasyl deserves a starting place.

Would have liked to see Kramaric on instead of Mahrez.

Pearson done good.

Pulis in city fans must feel pretty stupid.
