Harry - LCFC Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 No offence, but it really would be good if you could make these assertions after actually being at games. A lot of us thought he should have started today, in place of Ulloa. And it IS bewildering that Pearson should pay such a lot of money for a striker, then not play him. It implies that Nigel can't comsider his record signing good enough to warrant a place in a team who are still bottom of the division. If so, why pay what he did for him? I know your glasses are unbelievably blue tinted but even you must see where some of the fans are coming from on this? Or maybe not... I'd have started Kramaric today too but there's no obligation to play him just because you paid a lot of money for him. Him not starting doesn't mean Pearson doesn't see a role for him. It just means he wasn't considered the best option for this game.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 What a win. Absolutely amazing. To come from 2-1 down away from home to win 2-3 shows a lot of faith and desire from the players in my opinion. Onto the next one and hopefully we can keep this run going of winning. Foxes Never Quit.
orangecity23 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Wasn't there some chatter recently that because of add ons and etc, that actually Ulloa is still the record signing ahead of Krama? In which case, he did start his record signing.
old koppite Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Second half starting on sky- looking forward to this!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I think Ulloa's selection had something to do with defensive set pieces to be honest, not that it helped at all.
blueharmie Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Vardys celebration said it all. Think he's a little pissed off with being slated. Cracking goal from the other half my I add. Good lad.

You don't pay the ass-end of ten million for a striker who isn't 'the best option'. Not in my world anyway. I've not seen Chelsea drop Costa for a Prem league game. Nor Liverpool leave out a fully fit Sturridge. Swansea didn't bench Bony. West Ham usually played a fully fit Andy Carroll. West Brom don't drop Idaye. Etc.... It is a strange one. And I can't believe Pearson is 'saving' Kram for anything? The time is nie. For your record striker anyway.

Matt Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! ****ING GET IN there, pretty pissed so more will follolw tomortrpow but today was brilliant and will write abit. I must admit, I gave up a little a 2-1 but the last 20 minutes we really gave it a go which 'bought me back to life' and excited me. Excellent stuff! Can't fault their efforts, thats all I ask. We got the equaliser and I was happy, I'd have gone home quite happy with that given the circumstances. Then we go and score a winner! You beauty! It's gave us some hope, I still think there is alot of work to be done and still question whether we will survive but at the same time i;m gaining abit of confidence back, pbivously want a win next week but a draw, with wins to follow and i'll be happy, next week is gonna be toughter imo.

Costa and Sturridge are included not for their price tag but for their contribution to the team. You can't say Kramaric has been as important to our first XI as those two examples. Today it worked, so really changing it for the next game would be unnecessary.
Matt Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Oh their first goal, what the **** happened? Maybe I was abit too pissed even at that point but I didn't see a shot, or the ball even go near the line? Apparently goal line tech decided the goal? But the referee didn't even seem to hesitate, he gave a goal straight away, or so it seemed to me? Weird.
Leicesterpool Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 WOW, WOW AND WOW! What an afternoon that was, that was probably my tenth away game of the season but that was the first away win I've seen this season. First half I felt both teams looked a little dodgy, defensively we looked very poor and we were letting West Brom to easy into the box. The second goal West Brom got clearly should been a throwing, Leicester did score in the first half and it was probably our only shot at goal in the first half. Second Half a major difference, we had ago and really went for it and credit for Pearson in doing that. You see when we do attack, we get results and when we sit back and play on the counter we rarely get anything. We looked so exciting and full of life, all over West Brom in the second period, who looked dreadful second half. Once again a terrific performance from Vardy, also Albrighton what a game he had and probably my man of the match. Why wasn't he in the team at the start of the season, he puts some class crosses into the box.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 hold on, in your world we did score three goals today, with attacking players getting two goals and ulloa setting up nugent an absolute treat right?! Yes, but that's not my point. It is still bizarre that you spend so much money on your record signing, then don't play him. Not even bring him on. If he's not good enough to replace Vardy, Schlupp or Nugent, why buy him at such a price? If he'd played consistently and clearly lost form, then you give him a break. But he hadn't. The result was tip top. But that's not what I'm saying.
steveherbe Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Awesome today, best away end since the 70's. Kebab, chips and naan in The Vine, followed by the best display I've seen all season. What an amazing finish though, scenes like I've never seen before. 10 minutes after the game, 3,000 City fans still in the ground singing their heads off. If you were there, you were privileged, if you weren't, we did you proud. And the players celebrations afterwards were a joy. Believe me, they do care. Nuge stood in front of us on his own, both arms up, he was loving it. We are doing this people, seat belts on for the ride of your lives. And I managed to get 4 t-shirts

According to commentary the ref gave it AFTER the goal-line tech said yes. Bloody quickly if so!

Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I saw him look at his watch before he gave it.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Ref actually seemed to wait 3 seconds before giving the goal
Matt Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 According to commentary the ref gave it AFTER the goal-line tech said yes. Bloody quickly if so! This. Like 2 seconds - Well tbh I never saw any decision of whether it was a goal or not, I didn't even realise a goal had been scored so to say he waited 2 seconds is genorous. I couldn't believe it, I heard them cheering, but I was ironically cheering back as I saw the ball no-where near the line, or a shot or anyhting, really was bizaree, then I realised a goal had been given and was like WTF?!! And then got quite pissed off.

He probably is a better player than Nugent and Vardy but nobody saw the effort and capacity to link up that they have had in, for example, the Hull game. These are players on form and Leo has got an assist.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 That white shirt did Anichebe and Olsson no favours.
Leicesterpool Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I know just after the equalizer was scored three old blokes near me got knocked by a few fans while they were running down the steps, two of them hit the ground one suffered a nose bleed, while another got a black eye plus another got a few cuts on his leg. Hope there all okay, yes of course fans can get really passionate but to get to the point of causing harm to other supporters is simply unacceptable.

He might also feel karmaric would be more effective later on with fresher legs, but today had to reshape the team due to pulis' 7 centre backs. We have no idea what goes on behind the scenes as to fitness and training performances. Nigel has surprised a few in the last couple of games, including me, let's hope whatever the selection, results and performance continue to exceed our expectations.
Unabomber Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Where did Mahrez play when he came on if Albrighton was on the right and Jeff on the left?
