WBA Post Match 2-3

As a Croatian I really can't quite believe Kramaric can't get any time in the team at the foot of the table, even though they're playing ok right now. I'm happy for you guys and I hope you stay up, but I really want him to leave at the end of the season and find a more suitable team that plays to his strength. He just doesn't suit this club, but the battlers who run all day like Vardy and Nugent do. Don't kill me for that opinion, but I feel it's accurate. Some guys just look average at teams like this, and he's one of them

No one has the divine right to play attractive football. You have to earn the right to play with the ball and control possession and dictate a game in the Premier League. That is what Leicester did today in the 2nd half, we earned the right to play football by battling and getting stuck in when it was required. Kramaric has come from Croatia and was playing in a league that is League 1 standard at best in England. The step up to the Premier League is a big one.

He's settling in to living in a new country, a new lifestyle and more importantly a new style of football. He is still learning and it will take him more time till he is fully adjusted to the pace of the Premier League. Last week when he came on against West Ham he helped changed the game for us and eventually get the 3 points. Today I don't think was the game for him at all, Tony Pulis' sides are always big and physical and like to get stuck in on the opposition. However next week against Swansea is a game that I would say is perfectly set up for Kramaric. He may end up moving on to a much bigger club as he progresses but at the moment, he isn't at the level to play for a club in the Top 6, he isn't that good yet.

Just watching them on MOTD... They're dreadful... And we've got to play them!!... 3 more points please!!

At this moment I think I could play up front and cause John O'Shea problems. Ferguson rarely got it wrong when he let players go and Wes Brown & O'Shea have been shown up as being properly woeful.

They're a team that have been together through 3 or 4 managers now and let each of them down. From Pantaloon through to the Lambourghini-parading Fletcher, they're a bunch of weak, self-defeating wasters. Defoe's probably the exception but one man won't keep them afloat.

Very true.

He's a very talented player but we won't see the best of him until we're out of this scrap. He's been used to winning and winning fairly easily from what I've seen of his play in Croatia. If we stay up he'll benefit massively from a full pre-season and going at it fresh. If we go down, he'll benefit massively from the signing on fee at Swansea, West Ham or some other mid-table entity.

Players are the ones who are responsible to whether or not a managers decision is the right or wrong one.

A lot on here called for karma to replace vardy today.

Not me, I'd play him instead of Leo, who is totally ineffective, and has been for a long time.

Ditto Kramaric for me too - Ulloa too slow and continually fouls his opponent in almost every aerial contest he goes into.

The second half was the first time for a long time that I saw City pass the ball like they did last season, West Brom hardly got a look in. They look so much better doing that than hoofing and hoping. At the end of the match Sky put up the stat that we had 55% possession over the game - I can't remember the last time we had more than 50%. I hope that this style of play is carried forward to the next few games.

What a great day. Albrighton, Schlupp and Vardy all had terrific games, can't fault anyone else either.

Great game, still super happy and have finally got my voice back! Can't wait for the Swansea game already. Do we have to really wait a week?!

I downloaded the RL podcast so will listen to that in the morning! Maybe after I rewatch the match again!

what an amazing day that was. cant really remember the good bits all that well though, went utterly bananas. everyone screaming at schlupp to run into the space is hands down one of my favourite moments of the season

Sorry, but I feel I should 'kill you' for this post. It's ridiculous.

From what we've seen of Kramaric so far, he's better off back in the Croatian league- and who the hell is that going to help from a Croatian's point of view? At this point in time, it's not that Leicester isn't the right club for him, he's just not adapted to the Premier League. You could put him at Chelsea, he'd still be playing the same defenders that we play, missing the same chances.

By your logic, he should be playing in a namby pamby league like Spain or Italy, and trust me, that won't help him to be a world beater on the International stage.

Andrej Kramaric is at the best club for Andrej Kramaric. Once he adapts he's going to be a machine.

To be fair to Kramaric he's often deployed up front on his own which he looks painfully ill equipped to do so. In the brief times he's had support up top he's looked superb. I'm surprised he's not yet been played with Vardy and Nugent.

Just a quick question why do you never see the likes of seenitall, nettle, buzzy etc celebrate wins? Are they actually Leicester City fans? All gone quiet lads.

Will you stop going on about that? We have had enough reason to be unhappy this season so no need to gloat,we could still lose a few we shouldn't and they'd have reason to moan again.

This. We switched Mahrez for Albrighton on the back of last weekend's win yesterday. I think the next change on the back of yesterday's win will be Kramaric in for Ulloa. The link up play between Kramaric, Nugent and Vardy (especially with their current form) could be massive for us in the closing games.

Who wanted Pulis? Horrible boring rent a manager.

certainly not me- I must say it's very impressive how he seems to have instilled total  fear into W Brom - they were like rabbits in the headlights in the whole second half and his reaction was to bring on more defenders

I don't think he was angry. I took it as him being incredibly emotional and overwhelmed by it to the point he was just going crackers. To be fair, I think I would have reacted the same. The relief at scoring such a massive goal would be immense.

This. Fans love him

You're answering your own question there, Roko - the other forwards are playing better at the moment and they're making up for some of the dreadful scenes up front earlier on in the season.

Kramaric will be a great asset to have come the remaining few games and he's undoubtledly got a lot of talent from what we've been able to witness so far, but it's up to the manager to make that call. We didn't really need him yesterday against West Bromwich. You can't please everyone - we needed a more compact and dominant midfield, as James and Cambiasso were often overrun in the first half, so Mahrez and King came on. With Wasilewski, there went your third substitution. And it worked.

You can't tell whether Kramaric fits the club or the playing style or not - for that he hasn't played often enough. I understand as a fellow countryman, you want him to do well. But so do we and I think he'll stay and go on to great things in the near future. Just put some trust in it.

Thought the away end was pretty shit for the first 80 mins. WBA were loud throughout. Whoever chucked the flair into the home end is a **** as well.

Arrested and thrown out what a total muppet as missed the best away end all season including the 10 mins after the game had finished

Not quite sure it was necessary to sing " what the f**k are you still doing here" to there under 8's Academy team but all part of the banter I suppose

Just watched motd 3 times..great performance great win...didn't go took my boys paintballing in ratby (awesome) brother went and said the atmosphere was great...can we do it ? Fooking hope so

I watched the sky rerun last evening. What do people feel that AK gave us which MJ didn't?

James' passing is absolutely terrible at times. Bringing king on helped us keep the ball better imo

Matty looked nervous to me, he gave the ball away too much and wasn't at his best.  King gave a more cultured and calm performance when he came on and was pivotal in us getting back into the game.

King played in our good spell at the start of the season, he just gives us more steel in the midfield and knows how to attack with the ball, James is more defensive but can be a bit of a headless chicken at times and is poorer in attack and those shots he tries can be cringe worthy.
