EnglishOxide Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Why would he be angry at the fans? He just scored a brilliant and vital solo goal and was pumped up. He quite likely would be pissed off at anybody suggesting over the past few months that 9mill Kramaric should be in the team ahead of him after what he did for us last season. It just shows he cares and that he wants to cement the shirt tbh.
Claridge Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Utter bollocks. Ulloa gets far too much stick, sometimes the guy can only do so much, considering he has defenders jumping all over him most of the time. His lay off for Nugent's goal was brilliant, he held the ball up well at times & made a nuisance of himself in and around the box. He maybe should of scored, but for that chance he brought the ball down ever do well. Think taking him off didn't make much difference, considering his replacement in Mahrez hardly did anything again. The difference was down to formation, we looked more comfortable with a back three, while Schlupp & Albrighton were allowed to get forward more & caused problems. Ulloa for me yet again did alright, he certainly wasn't pants. far better team with Ulloa in. Love Kramaric but Ulloa does all the non flashy stuff that can look frustrating at times but allows others to find space and not have to take the knocks off the big bruisers at the back that many teams have. Would Vardy have the energy at the end if he had to take the batterings Ulloa does throughout the match? Dread to think where we would be without Ulloa, down all ready probably
cambridgefox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Admit it, how many times did you rewind and replay vardys goal and the aftermath. I must be up to the 20 mark now Loads, cracking goal, strong, quick and what made it better was it was infront of our fans who were going mental. What a buzz you must get if you had scored that in injury time in a game like that. Also reckon he will be so pumped up for the rest of the campaign.im a happy man tonight.

SystonFox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Their first dos not cross de line I agree wif Scouse
MC Prussian Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 No offence, but it really would be good if you could make these assertions after actually being at games. A lot of us thought he should have started today, in place of Ulloa. And it IS bewildering that Pearson should pay such a lot of money for a striker, then not play him. It implies that Nigel can't comsider his record signing good enough to warrant a place in a team who are still bottom of the division. If so, why pay what he did for him? I know your glasses are unbelievably blue tinted but even you must see where some of the fans are coming from on this? Or maybe not... All you need to do is watching games and seeing or trying to make out what the manager intents on doing with the starting XI that he sends out each time. Don't try to pull this down to the "I attend more matches at the stadium than you do" - some fans are able to do the trip more easily than others. It's a silly argument. There's actually a much better chance of seeing things on TV than being right there - not that it is any substitution for the live atmosphere, mind. Granted, some of the decisions in the past few weeks and months were baffling at times, but at no point did I ever suspect the players deliberately trying to let the manager down. The fighting spirit has always been there and we've also been undone by poor refereeing, own goals, bad decision-making on the pitch by some of our so-called key players, etc. In essence, that's football. We've been at the wrong end of results too many times, so it's great to see the boomerang effect coming into effect now. Besides, no mention on your behalf of Ulloa's assist for Nugent's goal. He did well getting behind the West Brom defenders and putting himself in some good positions from long balls coming from our half. I despair looking at his first touch, though. Maybe it's just bad form - who knows? We won, we scored three goals. And all of that without Kramaric. He wasn't needed, it was the manager's decision to omit him. Stop reading too much into decisions you don't have any say in. Just bloody enjoy the three points, dammit!

No better way to tell the fans what you think after bagging a 90th min winner
foxer Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Not ready any reports yet. Been at a wedding all day and had no phone. So bloody pleased!
weller54 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Perhaps Kramaric was carrying a knock..Who knows.. If he wasn't involved today because of 'tactics' or unsuitability against the wba formation, we don't know... But Swansea at home seems more suited for his inclusion?... We'll see.

I don't care as long as we win. We are playing well with Nuge and Vardy at the minute and it makes no sense to drop Ulloa who is the only target man we have especially now Albrighton is in the team.
Number 6 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Ulloa won the flick on for the goal. Which was crucial at the time. Other than that (and of course that was important) he was pants. I can't recollect him winning anything much against their lumps at centre back. I'd like to see Kram start against the Swans IF we start with three up front. Ulloa has been poor now for too long. The game turned when he went off. No soapbox lad, opinion. So we should play Kramaric instead of Ulloa because we spent loads on Kram, despite the fact we spent more on Ulloa? Fee is irrelevant, should we drop Albrighton because he was free?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 LETS HAVE A ****ING GO THATS ALL I ASK GWED LADS
GingerrrFox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Just a quick question why do you never see the likes of seenitall, nettle, buzzy etc celebrate wins? Are they actually Leicester City fans? All gone quiet lads.
DB11 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I've watched the game on match of the day. Is Vardy pleased at the goal or is he having a go at the fans? Have the fans been on his back?
Dawko Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Thanks for the T shirt Leicester. GAME ON My feet are killing me though
Larry_LCFC Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I've watched the game on match of the day. Is Vardy pleased at the goal or is he having a go at the fans? Have the fans been on his back? I don't think he was angry. I took it as him being incredibly emotional and overwhelmed by it to the point he was just going crackers. To be fair, I think I would have reacted the same. The relief at scoring such a massive goal would be immense.
Bettsj2 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Substitutions / change of tactics win us two games on the bounce. NP is learning... Seems to be. We are once again playing to our strengths. Urgent, pressing football and whilst the two wins havent been comfortable, winning is winning. We have such a good opportunity with the Swansea home game to get off the bottom which would be such a huge lift I pray we carry on in the same vein. One point that I think needs to be made. As a Pearson critic this season, I was told that my reaction to some of the worst football, managerial decisions and dreadful league position was 'kneejerk'. Lets not pretend that after two wins Pearson was right all along. Credit to the guy for the last two games. His formations, line-ups and tactics have been spot on but that doesnt justify his previous shortcomings. All of that aside, we're suddenly in a position where we can realistically survive. Sunderland and Hull are absolutely sinking and our upward curve could see us overtake one if not both, eapecially if we go to the Stadium of Light and get a result.

I've been backing Pearson all season, something I haven't done in the past. I've never pretended he hasn't made mistakes, He has, he did a couple today and he will again in the remaining seven games. We are fighting at the foot of the table, all the clubs down here have managers that have made mistakes and replaced them with managers that have made mistakes (Palace a bit of an exception). The reason I back Pearson, is because he has the support of the players, if that ever goes so should he. The only people who want Pearson sacked or wanted, that annoy me, are the ones that insult him. It's disrespectful to a man that has achieved a great deal here, under difficult circumstances and regardless of where we go from here, they should hang their heads in shame. Pearson will go down in history as one of our better managers, no doubt about it.

BoneDog Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Another outstanding afternoon. Loved how Vardy controlled the ball on that run, and what a sweet finish.
oohaahmustafa Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Scenes at the end. Awsome. we are staying up.
oohaahmustafa Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Who wanted Pulis? Horrible boring rent a manager.
RokoNZ Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 As a Croatian I really can't quite believe Kramaric can't get any time in the team at the foot of the table, even though they're playing ok right now. I'm happy for you guys and I hope you stay up, but I really want him to leave at the end of the season and find a more suitable team that plays to his strength. He just doesn't suit this club, but the battlers who run all day like Vardy and Nugent do. Don't kill me for that opinion, but I feel it's accurate. Some guys just look average at teams like this, and he's one of them
