Fez of Mahrez Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Why? 10 goals in 35 appearances this season. Compare that to 12 in 37 for Ulloa. Ings is one of the most over rated players in the league. Great, he's English. So what? So similar records then? And he's out of contract. I think he'll go somewhere bigger and not make it (e.g. Liverpool) but he'd be perfect for us.
oncewasafox Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Forget Trippier, he will be at Liverpool next year. Huth is a massive priority + another of similar standard. Another decent CM as james is likely to be out until Christmas or beyond. I'd love Adam but that won't happen either. If Norwich don't make it, Redmond and Johnson would be good shouts, however someone with prem experience, Sean Davis from Southampton would do me...... The Cambiasso effect could attract another 'off the wall' signing like himself too....
Guest Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 I don't think it's a question of whether Burnley want to sell. They are a championship side and it's difficult to get back to the prem - the decent players will want to get out!
foxfanazer Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 I'd go for Austin over Ings all day long. This! He's far better all round imo
Tielemans63 Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 We're interested in Brentford's Spanish midfielder Jota apparently - according to the Daily Mail. Good player but £6 million seems a bit steep.
desertfox2 Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Alex dzagoev would be a good signing for anyone in the prem. In the past he has been linked with loads of sides but it's never happened. Cska are in financial problems and willing to sell. Goal scoring midfielder.
Haydos Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 That's a point, Loftus-Cheek on loan? Pearson seems to get on well with Nige and I doubt he's going to get that many opportunities with Chelsea next season. Comes very highly rated.
Stadt Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 That's a point, Loftus-Cheek on loan? Pearson seems to get on well with Nige and I doubt he's going to get that many opportunities with Chelsea next season. Comes very highly rated.Well he is a bit arrogant
Stevosevic Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Chester for sure and i think he will if Hull go down.

Think Mourinho is on record as saying he doesn't think a loan move is right for Loftus-cheek.
Haydos Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Javier Hernandez should be on our radar as well. Might be a bit out of our league but so was Cambiasso. Alberto Bueno might also be a good shout. Ulloa, Vardy, Kram, Hernandez, Nugent and Mahrez fighting for those front 3 spots should make for good competition.
Haydos Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Nolito as well. Plenty of quality abroad that might be a bit more expensive than Prem players.
katieakita Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Really hope we get Huth and offer longer deals to Marcin and EC. Sure Walshy Snr will have some unknowns lined up and whoever we bring in the manager will get slaughtered on here, Unless of course Lionel has a thing for Rachel.
Haydos Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Jason Puncheon. Not a bad shout. Any reason to leave Palace apart from money?
Finnaldo Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Within reason I'd go for it this summer (of course IF we stay up, looks almost set now though), get Huth in for £2 million and Was in for defence and maybe another younger CB. For midfield get Cambiasso on for another 1 year playing contract or, if he's not up for that, a coaching job. And either a quality CM or at least Hammond on another deal with James out. That's what's really needed, possibly a few more upgrades across the field but it's not usual for Pearson to really change it up, I see Kramaric being utilised more next season with time to gel and a full pre-season behind him to get him ready for PL football, so not many frontmen coming in, although maybe a replacement for Nugent if Pearson feels the need.
conLAD logan Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 it won't be us, but anyone who gets chicarito will have simply got the bargain of the transfer window as he won't cost too much and he'll score 15 goals + in any team
Guest Papasmurf Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Think Mourinho is on record as saying he doesn't think a loan move is right for Loftus-cheek. Said on commentary just now he will be in or around the Chelsea first team next season.
JohnnyB Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 I'd go for Austin over Ings all day long. I'd also be interested in Matt Phillips as QPR are now down
lgfualol Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Jordan Ibe on loan? That's if Rogers hasn't got him in their plans. I imagine Liverpool will spend another £100m on strikers and wingers to push him out.
General Smuts Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Would love us to go out an spend some real money on a young centre back from Europe to sit next to Huth and learn. Someone like Van Beek or Kongolo from Feyenoord, Engels from Brugge or Sule from Hoffenheim.
