Next season who would you like to see come in?

Robbie Brady from Hull. Right midfield/wing back. Looks decent in a poor Hull side. Pearson signed him for Hull from Man Utd and is under contract until end of next season I believe. Fits the Pearson mould.

I was reading the Sud Ouest in the Café this morning and Bordeaux are going to try and get Gourcuff back as his contract expires at the end of the season. They sold him to Lyon for something like 22 million euros so getting him on a free would be a miracle.

If Bordeaux can do it then we should give it a try. He's far too good for us but he'd be a great upgrade on Cambiasso, 28 and a goal scoring, playmaker - he'll get 8+ and a few assists for sure. We'd have to pay him a massive weekly salary but saving on a fee for a 15M+ player would make it worth it. Maybe the lure of playing in the Prem (alongside Cambiasso ?!?) could get him.

Go for it NP.

I just reckon on a few minor strengthening tweaks, with exceptional care to the temperament and not 'just' technical ability of anyone brought in ... after all the squad now appears to be harmonious and pulling together and I think that's the 'magic' part of the finale run we are witnessing?

Trippier would be a great asset and has shown a huge amount of character for Burnley (... a team which I would have liked to see stay up with us, if indeed we do manage that feat!) but again he has to be able to slot in and bind with the current players.

Huth has just been so effective for us that we really should prioritise getting him in on a good deal, long one to boot and he would be my Captain also (but hey ... perhaps it's a good job I'm not in charge!)

But Austin! ... really? ... at the end of the Man City game he looked like a guy that really didn't give a shit about the result, with the rather stupid and smug grin on his face! ... No, he's already agreed his next move and it will be a paper-chase ( ... follow the money!) and that excludes the likes of us (thank goodness!), we need to invest yes but be wise and stay real

character is hugely important.

If we stay up, it down to character. Never giving up, not letting heads drop. Not believing we're consigned to relegation despite being bottom for 140+ days

Character is an unbelievably important criteria to take into account when recruiting

Couldn't agree more with that. I'd like to see players come in who have that grit and determination.

If we stay up, and bottom 3 remain the same. Some of these plz

Trippier

Huth

Dawson

Garbutt

Flanagan

Diame

Fer

Snodgrass

Austin

Snodgrass is a good shout. It wouldn't be the most exciting signing but it would be a good one. He would add creativity, delivery into the box, hard work and adaptability. Wouldn't cost too much either!

Has Gourcuff not been plagued with injury problems recently? I remember him getting injured pre-season a few years back and have heard very little of him since. However, if he is still the same quality player he was in his youth then I agree he'd be worth a gamble on a free transfer.

I don't know what your constant digs at Cambiasso are supposed to mean, I really don't.

Gourcuff plays in a completely different position compared to Cambiasso - in an advanced, attacking midfield role, that is.

Besides, I was probably first mentioning Yoan in this thread so I take credit for that. :D

Recently/ throughout his whole career.

In the most recent issue of the German football magazine kicker, there's a more in-depth report about Bayern Munich and which players they're more likely to lose over the next summer.

Personally, I'd take Dante in a heartbeat. But probably a too big a signing for a club like Leicester... or not?

Other than that, the only two realistic transfer targets in that squad are Pepe Reina and Mitchell Weiser.

He has an injury history but he's back playing and is sheer class. Would definitely be worth getting in.

I thought you had me on ignore, you stalker. I told your mother no and I meant it.

Nobody rates ahmed elmohamedy? Hard worker and always looked quite good when I've seen him.

I like him.

Huth sign permanantely (if not then a similar type of CB)

Get a new LB/LWB

New RB/RWB (to replace Simpson who is doggo)

New DM (Having Hammond as our only DM isnt good enough)

Possibly an AM to sit behind the strikers (Wouldnt mind Mahrez and Nugent for this role but we need to look for better)

Strikers i think we are ok what we need to do is get Kramaric a good pre season and into the system. I believe we will see the best of Kramaric next season

Think he would be a good signing. Him and albrighton for the right hand side. It would probably mean trying to get rid of Simpson. No real loss there though

He'd be a massive step up from Simpson.

Trippier has Probably already been mentioned but seen its been reported that he has a relegation release clause of £3.5 mill

Snap him up at that price!

I really think we could get this fella if we went for him. I can't see Arsenal buying him as they are over loaded in midfield and will only buy in this area if they're a worldy or young and potential worldy. This guy is 26, cheap and an upgrade on what we have

I'd also like us to get Huth and another central DF, maybe this guy is out of our reach but if none of the powerhouses make a move you never know. Leicester have more income than any team in South America so it's a step up in many regards and a good chance for any player with high ambitions to put themselves in the shop window in one of Europe's finest leagues.

That would be more or less it for me. We don't need any more FW's, a GK or wing backs. The ones we have are good enough so I'd like us to improve our weaker positions with 2 or 3 quality players.

I would agree that Dante is too big a player for us, currently. Was rumoured last year that he may be on the move to United.

I do rate him very highly, mind. Love to see good players in the Premier League, regardless of who the play for.

Is Trippier really much of an upgrade on Albrighton and De Laet?

I suspect not.

I can really see him replacing Clyne at Southampton.

Decent player but tough to forgive that retarded dance he did when they got promoted
