Next season who would you like to see come in?

A serious injury stopped me playing at professional level... What about you?

Yeah youve seen me play football!

Think you were injured that week.

Micah Richards. Not happy at Fiorentina and obv won't get game time at city next season. Looking for guaranteed first team football. Still 26 will be close to home city of Birmingham. Would be a good team to get his football career back on track?

I'd take him. I think he would sit well on the right side of the 3 centre backs. He is quick, strong and always used to play with his heart on his sleeve as youngster. I think he's just become a bit disillusioned with the whole situation at Manchester City and his adventurous loan spell not working out has been a kick in the teeth. He could also cover RB and RWB if needed.

I think Richards is worth a punt but the questions are whether he'd be willing to come and also if he'd be willing to fit into our wage structure.

I don't think there's any question about his attitude. He's remained loyal to Man City despite his lack of playing time, his performances are mostly full-blooded and committed, and he came across well in his BBC column a few years ago.

He has natural ability and think Pearson could coax it out of him. Definitely worth a 2 year deal I'd say.

I agree. Something like a short term deal with an extension clause for ourselves, if we and the player want it, and a potential release clause to a top 6 side should he rediscover his form would be a fair contract offer.

Given we finished 14th this season (eventually!) with some very strong performances and our aspirations for next season I can't see him instantly turning his nose up at us if he wants first team football.

Richards is pretty much the perfect transfer for us providing his attitude is right and he feels he has a point to prove. Hopefully he accepts that no one will pay the same wages as Man City. Him huth and morgan as 3 centre backs, if that clicked wow

I'll revise my list of players with some of the realistic targets we've been linked with or who are available:

CB: - Robert Huth

CB/RB: - Micah Richards

LB: - Tyrone Mings

A CM/CDM (possibly x2)

ST: - Shinji Okazaki

Didn't think we needed a CAM so much but if we can get Halilović on loan then do it Nige. Other than that resign Cambiasso, Wasilewski and possibly Hammond and I'd be happy with that summer business.

Richards has got a terrible injury record though, I know our sports science dept. is brilliant but I doubt we'd be interested.

Has anyone mentioned Cabaye yet, he'd be fantastic for us but obviously a big ask. Seen he's linked with the prem tenuously today.

Some more experienced players with contracts running out this summer:

Danny (AM, Zenit St. Petersburg)

Vitali Denisov (LB, Lokomotiv Moscow)

Sergio Romero (GK, Sampdoria)

Jorge Valdivia (AM, Palmeiras)

Lisandro Lopez (ST, Internacional)

Mauricio (CDM, Terek Grozny)

Fernando Belluschi (CM/CDM, Bursaspor)

I'd take those three! Danny especially is a great player, but he'd be on huge wages at Zenit.

No. We have a brain that informs us that no such transfer would ever happen unless Leicester was in France, with an eiffel tower, warmer weather and a club that paid out their behind on wages.

"Eiffel Tower" just releases a different image for any Leicester fan whose watched a certain video in the last two days.

CB - Robert Huth

LB - Joe Bryan

CAM - Lewis Holtby

WG - ?

ST - Shinji Okazaki

Joe Bryan would be great, but i still think Schlupp would be better. Plus he's a Bristol lad and might not want to leave.

I'd quite like him to stay so I can watch him in the championship next year anyway!

Palace's player of the season I think?

Doubt he'll be leaving.
