bovril Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 As they need 3 points to win the league, I'd say bad.
Bryn Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We'd likely lose either way, all about the performance.
Danizen Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 From our perspective, the best time to play them. We haven't been in this sort of form all season. The worst time to play them would've been when the game was originally scheduled.
ScouseFox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 better now than late feb when we didn't look like we'd get another win all season
RobHawk Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 It doesn't matter, our results mean if we get anything it's a bonus. Pressure off, go out and show the champions why we deserve to still be in the league next season!
KFS Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We want them to win tomorrow.. Have a feeling they'd throw the game to win it at home.
Webbo Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We want them to win tomorrow.. Have a feeling they'd throw the game to win it at home. I think you're right but I can see Arsenal getting something from the game, in which case they'll definitely want to win.
Gary Eatfood Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I reckon if they win tomorrow it's all set to be a fantastic occasion. We're fighting for our lives, they're within three points of the title. Can't wait. The reason we all want to be in the Prem is for games like this one.
Danizen Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We want them to win tomorrow.. Have a feeling they'd throw the game to win it at home. That would go against their win-at-all-cost mentality. They will be up for it.
tom27111 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I don't think there's ever a good time to play Chelsea. However, on the back of four straight wins, plenty of confidence and an enthusiastic crowd, now is better than any other point in the season.
Haydos Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Doesn't matter one jot. Mourinho is one of the most professional managers out they're. They'll be playing for the win no matter what.
bovril Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We want them to win tomorrow.. Have a feeling they'd throw the game to win it at home. Not a chance. Professional footballers don't throw games. Fabregas said himself they want to win it asap.
KFS Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I think you're right but I can see Arsenal getting something from the game, in which case they'll definitely want to win. That's true, it might be a case of "which game should we throw?"
tom27111 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Out of interest, and it could be completely irrelevant depending on the result of tomorrows game, but has anyone ever won the league at Filbert Street/the King Power? Or even just against us? Reading won the Championship (I think) here and Arsenal completed the 'Invincible' season against us, but have there been anymore?
Raw Dykes Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I don't think Chelsea would throw the match to win the title at home, but they might want to rest some players since it's a mid-week game. It will still be a very strong team, no matter what, though.
iancognito Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We want them to win tomorrow.. Have a feeling they'd throw the game to win it at home. Fabregas "I just want to win it as soon as I can, don't care where it is home or away, I've not waited a couple of years for this I've waited 28"
KFS Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Fabregas "I just want to win it as soon as I can, don't care where it is home or away, I've not waited a couple of years for this I've waited 28" He's lying mate
shailen Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Doesn't matter. The way we are playing the last few games, I fancy us to give anyone a game. We outplayed Swansea who are one of the best footballing sides in this league.
RedSoxUK Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Chelsea lose to ensure our clear run for survival (to win it at home)Mou pays his respects to Cambiasso who scores a brace Kramaric packs his bag for Chelsea (as arranged pre-match)
Stan Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Best time to play them? When we're on a four match winning streak, obviously!!
lcfcsnow Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 It's a hindrance, stuck in the middle of two massive games, not much recovery time either with the early kick off Saturday.
sdb Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Hoping they win tomorrow and maybe half want to win the league at home, thus making a result for us on Weds that little bit more likely. Oh and maybe a few minor knocks to Hazard, Fabregas, Terry and Ivanovic tomorrow.
The Doctor Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Good - day more to recover and it comes off the back of a tough game for them - they'll not be at full strength you'd imagine due to the bout at arsenal...
