Lichfieldfox. Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 It's a win win for us. We're expected to lose but our confidence is high and won't be knocked if we don't get a result. But I think we will get at least a point and another 3 on Saturday. We will end on over 36 points which will be enough.
Suffolk exile Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 The thing is that we played badly and won today - shows how the confidence has grown! Bring the buggers on!
ScouseFox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 are people seriously suggesting there will be a single part of mourinho that gives the slightest fvck where he wins the league?! they won it at bolton when they could've thrown about 4 games and still won it at home. they didn't. because that'd be absolutely retarded.
lev72 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Why can,t we get anything out of game, we will be up for this big time plus the KP will be rocking 1-1 for me, lets keep this incredible spirit goigoing, my love for this club is indescribable...bring them on
Matt Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Hmmmm win win for me all angles. Hopefully they win tomorrow (Cos I don't like Arsenal) then if they win on Wednesday, we'll be able to say we've seen the Premiership won at the KP, just keep the fact it was us who won it quiet BUT I know they are professionals and will want to win it at the earliest opportunity but their players might just have it at the back of their heads they'd rather win it infront of the home fans at Stamford Bridge and we might be able to get a draw....maybe even a win!
Nalis Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Doesnt really matter, its all about the last 4 games, anything from Chelsea is a bonus. The fact we're now talking about potentially being safe before the QPR game shows how far we've come in the past few weeks...
Fox92 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Doesn't matter really, teams like that are difficult to play at any time.
cc_star Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 May play their best football when they actually cross the finish line and the pressure is off. We'd have been better playing them at the original date and just getting it out the way, however we have nothing to lose now and everything to gain from getting a result. Its essentially a free game
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 It's as good a time as any, to play Chelsea, but if we keep our composure, we could end up with a point.
Max Power Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 It's a good time because we're on a roll and they look like they're tiring a bit but they are still heavy favourites and a point would be golden.
iancognito Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I hate saying 'bonus' games because the O'Neill prem years taught us that it's XI v XI for 90 minutes and all teams are beatable. Let's be honest this season we've gone toe-to-toe with Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal twice already, taken points off all of them and not looked a million miles away. That said if we get anything, it's a bonus
AyewJoking Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 will the premiership trophy be at the KP in the likely event Chelsea seal the title?
Maggie's town fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Play our own game and the rest will look after itself so get in their faces and i reckon we can get a very good point from this one, 2-2
Corky Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Nothing to fear, if they are at their best then they'll beat us. If they aren't we could surprise. We should look at it as a match we can get a positive result from, not a bonus game.
CPW22 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Best time - if we take anything from the game it'll be a bonus, if we lose I trust NP to put it in perspective and go again vs Newcastle
weller54 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 A narrow defeat wouldn't be a worry.. It's the Newcastle game we need to take 3 points from!!...
Zapp Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I want them to win tomorrow I dont care what you say, when youve all but won the title with 5 games to play, ideally you want to seal the deal in front of your own sell out crowd rather than away to the newly promoted guys away on a wednesday night. of course they are professionals and will be wanting to get the win, but it still might mean they drop their performance just enough to give us an extra edge.
Izzy Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We want them to win tomorrow.. Have a feeling they'd throw the game to win it at home. LMAO. Can you just imagine Mourinios team talk on Wednesday? "Just go out there and fvck about for 90 mins lads. Doesn't matter if we lose so take it easy, relax, don't try. In fact, throw the game it's not important - we'd rather win the league at home" What a load of bollux. They'll be up for it and we have to be 100% on our game to snatch a point.
Ian W LCFC Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Have a feeling they'd throw the game to win it at home. That's be very, very nice of them!

Izzy Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Whos Mourinio? The Chelsea Manager last I heard. Who are you, the spelling Police?
Swarles Barkley Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 A couple of injuries(short term of course) and maybe some suspensions tomorrow against arsenal would be best case scenario tomorrow IMO Having said that, their second team itself could probably compete for the title so wouldnt make much dfference!
