Yeah common in sport now. Warren Gatland is a big fan, Welsh rugby side have been doing it for a few years. I quite like the cold but even I think it looks horrific.

I thought this was going to be about freezing Cambiasso in between matches so he doesn't age any more.

I remember AP McCoy using one of these to get fit for Cheltenham a few years ago.

Did he not have to ride a horse then?

Massive praise must be given to the back room staff for the way the players are looked after physically. When you look at all the time Nigel and his back room staff have been here we haven't suffered a major injury touch wood. They must be doing something right. I know our medical staff visited Man Utd and arsenal training grounds in the summer to learn how they treat recovery after games and came away learning nothing that we don't do here already in fact both clubs learnt from our medical staff. The owners must also praised for putting this set up in place must of cost a small fortune to implement

When did we last have a player out injured for a significant amount of time due to a muscle related injury?

Pearson's regime has been amazing at it. Bizarre how bad some clubs are in this day and age.

Shit, now everyone knows our secret...

The vardy quote had some pretty unbelievable temperatures mentioned. Possible conspiracy theory - the temps we use are actually much less severe, but we want other clubs to copy those temps which are less beneficial to their players.

Pearson said post-match that the players didn't show the same energy as we usually do, and it was important we got the  early goals because of this. Seems like we may be running out of steam as we get towards the finish line (fitness-wise, the result today was fantastic)

It'd also be to do with the way the opposition set up. Southampton are a possession side so there's a lot of chasing the ball and it showed at times today where they had about 70%+ possession. I can't see it being the same for the next 2 as I don't see them as possession sides and we can impose ourselves on them more.
