Arriba Los Zorros Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Not sure based on video, he can clearly finish and is classy but very one-footed and seems to be more of an out and out finisher than a midfielder? Does he contribute to general play? Plus all of his goals have come on the counter attack which suggests he may not be terribly all-rounded. Perhaps I'm being harsh.

Are we not past that phase yet? He isn't better then what we have already got and therefore a waste of money and time in my opinion. I reckon we need to dream a little bigger and improve on what we have got at our disposal currently, we don't need to be adding more squad fillers.

I don't see the problem with signing players from Championship clubs if they're good enough. Who's to say he won't adapt to the Premier League? 23 year olds are never the finished article so there's room for improvement despite an impressive season. We're well short in midfield as it stands so I'd be all for this if it comes up. Plus Swansea are a good team these days. Being linked with the same names shows we're going in the right direction.
