Jota is wanted by Leicester and Swansea City

Jota, 23, has been nothing short of a revelation since joining Mark Warburton’s side from Celta Vigo at the start of the season.

The attacking midfielder has amassed 11 goals from 42 appearances for the West London club this season, and his impressive performances have caught the eye of Premier League duo Swansea City and Leicester.

Jota has seemed to adapt to the rigours and demands of the Sky Bet Championship with ease, a feat that is often regarded as very hard for someone’s first season in the division.

Bees manager Mark Warburton, who is leaving Griffin Park this summer, would undoubtedly want to keep hold of the exciting midfielder, and the club would no doubt demand a sizeable fee for the 23-year-old Spaniard.

Erm, seriously?

Attacking Midfielder, replacement for Mahrez and/or Knockaert? Knocky looks set to be off and there's question marks over Mahrez's future, could be an interesting but to be honest I haven't seen much of him this season.

Seen him play a few times and he didn't really stand out so I would be surprised by this. We probably need to add goals to our CM but I would guess it would be on someone proven if we stay up

Would very much welcome him to the KP. He'd do a job off the bench in the 'hole' that we're going for with the 3-5-2.

Seen him play several times now (not even lying). Incredibly one-footed but has good tekkers and can pick a pass. Worth a chance but not sure he's an instant improvement on our current wide options.

Can't say I'm too excited by the prospect, but I trust our scouting system with some of the players we have signed recently. Knocky, Mahrez, James, Drinkwater, Vardy...etc were all unknown and have performed to the highest level.

I've seen him 6/7 times this season (one of my sons chose Brentford above Leicester with it being the local club, 10 minutes walk away). He's good and very similar to Knockaert in almost every way. He does stand out in Brentford's team, but he's far from guaranteed to make the step up. I'd agree with a couple of others above that Pritchard is the better player, and for me is without question Brentford's player of the season, and I'm sure will be a Premier League player sooner or later.

Of course there is a 1/4 chance that Brentford will go up, in which case he'd be likely to stay as I'd guess he'd be more likely to get first team football anyway.

Liked him for a while, they're most attacking player - and a key part of their transitioning attacks.

(bias but I always try and get him on FM too, good nifty creative midfielder.)

Not so much a replacement for the Knocky / Mahrez being thrown around, more of an attacking player who works with freedom of movement etc.

I don't like when we go after championship team players. Every club tries to rip us off.

He seems a good player though. We definitely need a proper cam player.
