LCFCtotheprem Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 Sunderland v Leicester City (Saturday, 3pm) Sunderland still need to get something from this game, but I think it will end in a draw. Leicester have done great of late, as have Sunderland in the last couple of games, and I am going to go 1-1 in this game. Will it help both teams? I am not sure… PAUL PREDICTS: 1-1 (5/1 with Sky Bet)
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 Merson can go suck an ostrich. We are going to win this. (Hopefully)
AKCJ Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 would take a point to be honest don't see Hull getting owt.
Poznan34 Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 Merson seems to like us. Predicted (correctly)us to win a lot in recent weeks.
ealingfox Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 I'd take that now to be honest. Leaves Sunderland at least needing two points from the Emirates and the Bridge.
FrankieADZ Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 that would put newcastle in the bottom 3 would it? if those predictions were right
nnfox Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 Leicester's run of six wins from their last seven games is just incredible but Sunderland are also on the up after their great result at Everton last week. That made it two wins on the trot and I am going for another Black Cats victory here, which would effectively keep them up because I don't see Hull winning their last two games. Leicester will be fine too, I am sure. Lawro's prediction: 2-1 Lawro knows his stuff too.
Kitchandro Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 Why should Paul Merson's predictions have their own thread? He's one of the thickest people ever to appear on camera.

ScouseFox Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 I'd fast forward the full 90 mins if we were guaranteed a draw not gonna lie
ealingfox Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 Merson predicted us to win at the Hawthorns when nobody else did to be fair to him, top shout that.
Fox92 Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 Merson seems to like us. Predicted (correctly)us to win a lot in recent weeks. Yeah because he played with Nige at Middlesbrough. I'd take a point Saturday.
AyewJoking Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 i predict that at some point on saturday, both Leicester and tottenham will be winning
J.Lisemore Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Actually think Palace will do Liverpool. Might well be Gerrards last game but if Balotelli starts upfront, that will inspire Palace.
stb1996 Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Merson predicted us to win at the Hawthorns when nobody else did to be fair to him, top shout that. He's also predicted is to win most weeks since the United game
LCCFox96 Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Can see points being picked up by Hull and Newcastle this weekend. May need some favours off other teams but if we do our bit then it won't be a problem. Better Hull's result and we are safe, job's a guddun! I reckon 1-1 won't be far of it as a point isn't a disaster for either side and it will be a cagey affair. That should suit our direct, attacking style of play in the new system. Another early goal tomorrow, like Newcastle and Southampton, would be dreamland! If we score first then I'd back us for all 3 points.
Rusko187 Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 1-1 is a very fair prediction and to be honest I would take that right now. If Spurs do the business (which I have a feeling they won't) than we are safe and it's party time at QPR. I imagine we will set up exactly the same as previous games but Sunderland are very well drilled in defence and firmly parking that bus on the line. This has low score written all over it but I have a good feeling about tomorrow being the day we confirm premiership football. I'm going 2-0 Leicester, I think we have enough in us to bag a couple of goals.. an early one and we could have a high score as they will be forced to try and salvage something from the game which will play into our hands.
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Hull will win but so will we. Qpr will beat Newcastle. We'll get some joy down the flanks tomorrow. Albrighton and Schlupp will have a field day.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Lawro's guest thinks we'll lose 3 nil That's just nuts, we might lose but Sunderland aren't the team to give us our biggest defeat of the season, I hope.
biggs Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Confidence appears to be dropping here and for no reason at all. We will win at Sunderland and win at home v QPR. The team is full of confidence and so they should be. Can't wait for 7am tomorrow morning.
foxfanazer Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Why should Paul Merson's predictions have their own thread? He's one of the thickest people ever to appear on camera.Prefer him to dullards like Owen and Shearer
