SystonFox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Like this Sky 10 in 10 as well...I'm sure it'd be fine if Ian Holloway was in no way involved. I did see Sean Dyke referring to burnleys stadium as "the turf" in an interview. Penis
Richard Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Problem with Burnley is they lack any sort of creativity. When your main creative outlets are George Boyd, Scott arfield or Matty taylor you're gonna struggle creating chances. Gray seems a decent player, single handedly keeping them in with a shout of automatic atm

Penis Don't insult my penis. He is far more knowledgeable and interesting than Sean Dickhead ever could be.
AKCJ Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 It's an utterly abysmal league filled with dour footballers and dour club. Thank **** we won't have to go through it again for a while (ever again).
Webbo Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 According to teletext Brian McDermott is back in charge at Reading.

AKCJ Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Wouldn't say "dour clubs", there are a lot of big clubs in the football league. Reading, Bolton, Burnley, Ipswich, Fulham, Bristol City, Charlton, Blackburn... Must be proper boring supporting them.
Finnaldo Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Wouldn't say "dour clubs", there are a lot of big clubs in the football league. Big clubs that are dour. Being historically big doesn't make you immune to being an absolute circus in modern football. It's not really mutually exclusive. Leeds have been irrelevant since 2002 and show no signs of ever being a powerhouse, yet alone a Premier League outfit, especially whilst they switch from shady owner to shady owner. Forest are a total laughing stock, the fact the Billy Davies era is their most significant for the turn of the millennium says it all. Most of the clubs are decaying, Blackburn and Reading especially, whilst the only biggish club that I respect and would like to see come up is Wednesday. The rest I couldn't care less.
Fox92 Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Just think it's disrespectful. Can't be doing with all this "dour", "tinpot", "poverty" shite. I guess we're all different football fans. I'd hate to think Manchester United and Liverpool fans look down at Leicester City and all us "irrelevant".

I'm merely stating that the league is full of clubs that are in the same shit position that we were in from 04-08. The fans must turn up merely thinking that they have to. You mentioned tinpot and poverty, I didn't say those words. I just think that the league is full of "dour" clubs that are in a right hole. It looks thoroughly depressing from the outside.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 I'd hate to think Manchester United and Liverpool fans look down at Leicester City and all us "irrelevant". No one's looking down at us. Top of the top tier, fvck all these tinpot losers!

We fitted that description for a decade or more, for most clubs football is cyclic teams rise and fall all the time whose to say that in 5 years time we won't be back struggling in the championship and one or more of those listed will be looking down their noses at us. Historically for clubs like Leicester it's a case of enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Ok, yeah I might have got the wrong end of the stick now you've fully explained. Apologies. I went to most games between 04 and 08 as I do now, but I can't remember my mindset ie what was I thinking we'd achieve every season.

Historically for clubs like Leicester it's a case of enjoy it whilst it lasts. Absolutely we were dour and shite, I'd be the first to admit that, especially between 2004-08 and to an extent 2010-12. My point is the old 'big clubs' deserve as much respect as they are performing currently, which is generally awful. On the other hand, traditionally smaller sides like Brighton, as Bournemouth did last year, are leading the pack emphatically, and I see them as a decent side. I just don't like the idea clubs can't be 'dour' because they're big. We're a fairly middling club and we were dour for a large portion of the last decade, as are Forest now, as are Leeds now. My respect is built on their current performance and merit.

theessexfox Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Jordan Graham, Wolves left winger looks a raw talent to me. He was only recalled from a loan spell at Oxford in late October, but he's been very positive and looks the only player in the match who could be a cut above that level. Still very raw, but I reckon we could improve him massively, same with Alex Mowatt who's not playing.
Fox92 Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 That man Dallas again. 1-2 Leeds. Wolves look poor again. Wouldn't be surprised if Jackett is gone by the end of the season.
Tincy Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Chris Wood should have a hat trick by now at the very least
Fox92 Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Chris Wood should have a hat trick by now at the very least Totally agree. Three very easy chances, especially the latest one.
Jordan Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 The fact that Wood should have a hat trick and Leeds are still 3-1 up shows just how terrible Wolves' defense has been tonight. They're woeful. Ikeme made one or two good saves but he got beat badly on the near post for the 2nd, go figure
glenelgfox Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Totally agree. Three very easy chances, especially the latest one. Chris who? Hence why he is not with us in the PL.

marko Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Absolute howler in the Birmingham vs Cardiff game. Never a penalty in a million years.
