Stadt Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 We started that season with 8 CMs, I think. At the point Sol was playing in midfield, Drinky was the only proper one fit, and he was a January signing. he was still shit-piss wretched
johnny the fox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 watching chris wood against forest...his first touch is worse than jimmy saviles..
Corky Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Neither of these sides should trouble the play-offs. Wood had a great chance to win it and missed it badly.
filbertway Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Byram looked pretty tidy, took his goal well. Antennuci looked pretty boss when he came on as well. Lots of poor play there though, was an entertaining last 15 after Byram bagged.
Tuna Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 "By next year I will change the name to Hull Tigers. If I were the owner of Manchester City I would change the name to Manchester Hunter – you need power. In time I would suggest names for all the clubs called City, but I do not have the time." Assem Allam. 12/9/13. Still waiting for your suggestion for us, Assem. Leicester King Power?
Danno Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Chris Wood is dog shit.Remember when people were calling for him to start last season?!
Vicki Vixen Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Remember when people were calling for him to start last season?! The stock response on here to players like Wood who can't get in the matchday squad is to send them out on loan to supposedly get their confidence up. Reality is a loan spell very rarely is the solution to players who are not good enough or who don't have the fight to compete in training. How many players actually break through at their parent club after coming back from a loan? Recovery from long-term injury and very young or inexperienced players are notable exceptions, e.g. Matty James would probably benefit from a short loan spell once he is ready. Wood is Championship standard at best and will never be anything more.
Corky Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Chris Wood is dog shit. I don't think he's that bad but he's so limited. You can see why Pearson wanted Vardy and Nugent to lead the line. Wood managed 20 goals for us in 62 matches which is healthy enough but in open play he offers very little. Give him chances and he should put them away, creating them is something he won't really do.
StanSP Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 this game (bolton vs Blackburn) is so shit. standard is ridiculously low.
Dan Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I cannot remember the Championship being this dour.
Mark Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 These Bolton Blackburn Burnley derbies often are this dour though.
Wymsey Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I don't have a clue why Paul Lambert is highly-rated. Must've been because of from his Dortmund experience.
LCFC FOX Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Harry Kane was dog shit for us too. Remember when we got them both from millwall and we thought they'd get 100 goals each
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I don't have a clue why Paul Lambert is highly-rated. Must've been because of from his Dortmund experience. They haven't scored from open play since December 5th now. We all know how it ended up at Villa, ie not being able to score.
Corky Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Sky keep picking these matches "that wouldn't look out of place in the Premier League" that haven't been played in the Premier League for around 15 years. Leeds v Derby is the latest on this list.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I don't have a clue why Paul Lambert is highly-rated. Must've been because of from his Dortmund experience. how is he highly rated? did a good job with Norwich
Fox92 Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35191715 Leeds officials stopped Sky TV from entering Elland Road with their cameras on Monday, to stop them screening Tuesday night's Championship game. Good man.
AKCJ Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Good on him. This will be Derby and Leeds' 9th game shown on Sky this season already.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 G'won Cellino. Although the fact they charge something ridiculous like £37 a ticket is hardly going to encourage more fans to go
Hollism Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Thought they were only obliged to appear once per season?
Stadt Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Leeds have been on against Wolves, Derby and Forest all within a week
