Izzy Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 lennon is gon' get fired tonight I hope not. He's working under impossible restrictions and I'm not sure changing the Manager will help them at this stage. Tens of millions in debt and players not getting paid. Who'd want to take that job on? Better off sticking with Lenny and I hope he turns it around there.

Izzy Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 Enter . ya reckon? Don't think Nige would touch Bolton with a barge pole myself. But who knows. Stranger things have happened in football...
Donut Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 It used to be better when we were part of it, weren't it? I can honestly say i was more relieved than anything when we got promoted. I literally could not stand watching football in that league any longer. I utterly hate it.

Well, we were the ones providing spectacle at both ends of the table on numerous occasions way back in time. Them were the days.
Donut Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 People often talk about the games being entertaining, but the "entertainment" is usually in the form of the abject quality of the football and players that fall into two distinct categories, the first being over the hill gobshites who have never had the quality to play at a decent level, the others being highly promising youth who know they need to get out of the championship and its ineptitude at the first opportunity.
Corky Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 It used to be better when we were part of it, weren't it? It wasn't. 10k empty seats quite regularly, no atmosphere, small away followings, Don Goodman, Thursday/ Friday matches. It was great in the last season but we've suffered plenty of tedium and dross over the years at that level.
Donut Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 Remember this? Its a whos the biggest willy puller competition. And lord knows there were some candidates. Anyone giving Harry Kane stick should look at the two shitcunts in this video. Harry has turned himself into a tidy player, these two buffons are still picking up wages.
SystonFox Posted 30 November 2015 Posted 30 November 2015 Spitter2 app is all that's wrong with championship football imo
Soar Fox Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Remember this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZevG60xC_tQ You can see why Pearson fvcked them off if that's what they were like in training. Look at how unprofessional Beckford & Danns are and then you look at Dyer.
Dan Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 How on earth did our official Youtube post that Jesus Christ. Never underestimate what foundations Pearson laid at this club.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 I can honestly say i was more relieved than anything when we got promoted. I literally could not stand watching football in that league any longer. I utterly hate it. The Championship is a massive pile of shit nuggets, no doubt. Think the main problems are it being full of has-been players and plenty of PL sized egos but without the talent to back it up, fans of recently relegated PL teams who can't accept that their team is no longer relevant or just drop off completely, with all the overpaid players and large stadiums you pay near enough PL money for a ticket to see a far lower quality brand of football with empty seats everywhere. And then there's the lack of coverage and having to watch shit highlights shows with 1% of the MOTD budget At least with the lower leagues you've got all the gutsy small teams and a large amount of players who know they'll never be in the limelight but just get on with it, it's no frills and knows what it is. The Championship is like a horrible compromise of lack of talent and too much money What pisses me off is the amount of pundits who announce a Championship result and say the old cliché - "that's what I love about this league, anyone can beat anyone." Well A) that applies to any league and B) that's because there's usually 1 or 2 decent teams, 1 yearly punchbag and 20-21 proper mediocre rubbish teams in between that are all in the playoffs at some point in the season and yet all seem to end up in 12th place slap bang in the middle of nowhere. They'll flirt with relegation for a while next season, get to 6th at Christmas and end up 12th again
Dan Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 You can't knock the unpredictability of who'll succeed but the standard is pretty horrendous.
Wymsey Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 You can't knock the unpredictability of who'll succeed but the standard is pretty horrendous. Absolutely. I have a sad feeling Forest will finish within the top-6 and Brighton will come crumbling down.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 So glad we don't have a Beckford in our squad anymore, waste of space
Donut Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Absolutely. I have a sad feeling Forest will finish within the top-6 and Brighton will come crumbling down. But the unpredictability doesnt come from good, closely matched teams, it comes from a league full of crap teams serving up a random shitfest every single season. Its awful in every single way. It cannot be argued otherwise. Its not entertaining in the least.

But why is this league becoming more and more popular globally, and not feeling bored of the dross it mainly serves?
Fox92 Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 You can see why Pearson fvcked them off if that's what they were like in training. Look at how unprofessional Beckford & Danns are and then you look at Dyer. Exactly this.
filbertway Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Is Konch having a go at Danns for being a dick, he's just off camera but it looks like he's shouting at him. Can't believe that was actually recorded and put on the site. Shows how unprofessional some of the squad was back then.
Fox92 Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Remember when Danns wanted to take the penalty against Coventry and then missed it
Banks Posted 1 December 2015 Posted 1 December 2015 Absolutely. I have a sad feeling Forest will finish within the top-6 and Brighton will come crumbling down. I was in a bad mood, but that did just make me laugh Forest aren't getting anywhere near the play-offs. They'll finish about 17th/18th under Freedman. #KingBilly
