Guest ttfn Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 This must be one of the lowest scoring PL weekends ever so far. I can't find a "record" but I'd be surprised if fewer than 18 had been scored over a 10 game weekend before. So far we're on 10 from 7 games.

Man City are playing Villa, that has hammering for Villa written all over it. (Hopefully i've now cursed the game and it'll be a 0-0 keeping our title rivals in touch)
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Nah, there have been plenty of low scoring PL weekends
Guest ttfn Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 I asked a similar question when the gap was just 7 points and it was surprisingly recent. When was the last time we were 14 point ahead of Chelsea?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 I asked a similar question when the gap was just 7 points and it was surprisingly recent. When was the last time we were 14 point ahead of Chelsea? Certainly never happened in the PL era
EnglishOxide Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 I love the concept, but let's see where we end up in May, shall we? Chelsea are just so far behind and I can't see them stringing say two wins together let alone getting one. We are surely at that stage where its no longer a good run of form, and we are in fact just a really good team. Can't see them catching us.

It's only 14 points, so that's just five wins. Chelsea will finish top 6 again.

I'm sure there's been plenty lower than 18 but yeah, could be down there* *hopefully cue loads of thrilling score draws today
Grewks Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Villa defeat would be the best result for us. We will not finish above man city, as claudio said 40 point is the first target and the more clubs the likes of villa/bournemouth/sunderland lose the lower that 40 point total will become.

lgfualol Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 What do Villa managers see in Alan Hutton. He's like Konchesky.
Jonezy Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 So I'm not the only one confused about what to hope for in this Villa-Man City match then.... Think a heavy Villa defeat is what to hope for really. We want to get far far away from the whole relegation thing ASAP.....

Think a heavy Villa defeat is what to hope for really. We want to get far far away from the whole relegation thing ASAP..... We need 5 wins to reach 40 points though. Don't think we should worry about the likes of Villa and Sunderland. A draw is the best of both worlds imo
Benguin Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Veretout is such a negative player. Kante was a way better signing
Jimothy Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Poor from Sterling, should have gone on his left rather than cutting back into the defender to go with his right. He was clear through.
sdb Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Lucky not to get booked, if only for the awful decision making
bovril Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Being a Leicester fan I still automatically want the teams at the bottom to lose.
foxfanazer Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Wish we were playing Man City before Silva and Aguero are back. Look pretty toothless against a poor Villa side
Guest Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Agree about wanting the bottom clubs to lose. safety first but having said that a Man C draw would look good too.
