MC Prussian Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 Well I don't know if you ever actually watched van Nistelrooy but he was basically a goal hanger who scored goals. And that's what kane is aswell. Obviously a big downgrade on van Nistelrooy but they are similar players. Van nistelrooy was never considered someone to make things happen or be heavily involved in games Van Nistelrooy could score with his left, score with his right, head it, pace into the box, put his body in - he had a phenomenal ball control given his height, could dribble if need be and possessed one of the best all-around skill packages for a striker ever seen in the Premier League. Harry Kane has great positioning and maybe a similar shot power. Nowhere near alike.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 I fvcking hate Kane the gormless chump
Buzzell Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 I can come to terms with Harry being a good finisher. What I can't come to terms with is him being England's new poster boy. Ohh and he's ugly as ****, the gormy bastard.
Dan Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 It is a shame that Kane will probably get more praise for his performance this weekend than Vardy's. Still I'd have either of them in the England side over Rooney.
STUHILL Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 So much hate for Kane I think he is a decent player and seems the least arrogant person you could meet. Got no problem with him being portrayed as a top striker, even though it is still early to tell yet. As for Vardy not getting as much recognition... Vardy is mentioned in nearly every news article about the Prem I have read recently. He is getting loads of coverage and rightly so. Why can't we just be happy we have two more decent options for England rather than slag the crap out of a decent striker who hopefully has a good future. As for Vardy over Kane though, all day long!!
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I wouldn't mind Kane if it wasn't for the fact I think he will starve vardy of his England chance upfront. Vardy should start ahead of him, but I can't see it happening, especially now kanes scored a few goals.
EnglishOxide Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 It should be Kane AND Vardy starting for England, let's be honest. Some people really need to calm down on their hate for him. So the goals have dried up this season, so what? He's 22. Vardy scored like 5 goals last season. And he is also more than just a goal hanger, his all round play is useful, Pochettino certainly believes so. If you are annoyed by the media favouritism then stop reading the papers, its not his fault. He may be gormless and have a silly voice, but he seems down to earth and quite a nice lad.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I like Kane, terrific finisher - he and Vardy up front for England next time. Rooney not playing well enough.
AKCJ Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Pisses me off how, after scoring 4 poverty goals against Bournemouth and Villa that Kanes has apparently "got his mojo back". The media can't wait to crawl up his arse. If Vardy isn't playing as number 9 against France then I officially give up.
Steven Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I got banned again Sat night. The mods hand out bans on here like confetti. I'm getting convinced it's when you disagree with or argue with 'certain posters'. Just like speeding tickets at the Indy 500.
foxfanazer Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Villa to break Derby's record low points total? I'd actually be happy about that

ViewFromTheBox Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 This week's LCFC stats for the season so far involve the number 6. Turn a 6 upside down and you get JAMIEVARDY http://lcfcbox.tumblr.com http://www.nxlogistics.co.uk
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Those stats are brilliant. Unbelievable really.

My England Team for the friendlies would be Hart Clyne Cahill Smalling Bertrand Shelvey Barkley Walcott Kane Sterling Vardy Kane likes to drop deep and get the ball Vardy should be playing on the shoulder of the last man. Rooney needs dropping for club and country.
Leicesterpool Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Those stats are interesting, also conceding 19 goals is quite a lot for a team sitting in the top four currently! Also another thing I find it funny how Chelsea fans criticised Benitez to hell and calling for him to go when he was there, despite in his short spell he won them the europa league. While Jose is there, they're currently sit 16th and there still backing him
The Railway Man Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Mike Dean has now celebrated goals for Spurs against Arsenal, Villa and Liverpool whilst sending off more Arsenal players than any other ref. Surely they are going to investigate this guy eventually?
Dan Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Also gave them the softest penalty in history against us last season. I'd seriously sack off 4-2-3-1. Stop pretending we're a possession side. We'd be a lot better if we played to our actual strengths.
Fox92 Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I wouldn't mind Kane if it wasn't for the fact I think he will starve vardy of his England chance upfront. Vardy should start ahead of him, but I can't see it happening, especially now kanes scored a few goals. Blame the manager for that, not the player. Kane isn't going to turn around to Hodgson and say "yeah sorry boss but I don't want to play".

We are going to learn alot over the next two friendlies. Do we persist with possession football (and therefore get outplayed by better technical footballers) or do we go direct. With the aggression of Vardy its a great opportunity to go 442 and use pace.

Fox92 Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 lol Can't imagine Savage being bothered about that, he still enjoys winding people up now.
Guest Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Poverty goals? Imagine if vardy scored them. How old are you? I guess about 15 He does score against poor teams. Anyway jimmeh what have you got to say about us getting 3 pts from the first of the three games you thought we'd get a total of one. Are you a Forest fan in disguise?
martyn Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Savage will absolutely love that tweet, shows he's got under Terry's skin. Completely ridiculous point from Terry anyway,
