Dan Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 2-0 Southampton! Imagine if this was us. We'd be written off immediately.
weller54 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 This will ease today's pain.. We want 3!!!!!
lifted*fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 We've had a stinker today and in the grand scheme of things we've gotten away with it - thanks to Southampton. Cheers Saints!
foxfanazer Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Not getting anything at Anfield was never going to be the end of the world and this result makes it even easier to accept
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 2-0 Southampton! Imagine if this was us. We'd be written off immediately. i bet the mirror couldn't wait to get stuck into us, but now with Arsenal losing and us remaining top they would just look ridiculous
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Our games at Spurs are looking harder by the week. Apart from that one blip against Newcastle, they've only lost on the opening day against United and they seem to be getting better and better. The Bournemouth game might not be a cake walk either.
TJB-fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Really need Southampton to get a result from this. Arsenal got Bournemouth on Monday so likely to win, whilst we could easily lose two on the trot with Man city on the horizon!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 The Bournemouth game might not be a cake walk either. No game is easy in this league, we know that
Dan Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 i bet the mirror couldn't wait to get stuck into us, but now with Arsenal losing and us remaining top they would just look ridiculous Was it true that the BBC's headline was about our bubble bursting? Yet all things considered this is a far worse result for Arsenal than ours was. Pathetic really.
ScouseFox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 as i said last week, arsenal beating man city was a good result for us because you can always rely on arsenal to cost themselves a good 10-12 points in games everyone has them down to win.

Yet all things considered this is a far worse result for Arsenal than ours was. Pathetic really. Really they said that, oh dear so going to anfield and losing 1 nil is seen as the bubble bursting blimey
timothyeis123 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 I woke up looked at BBC football saw Arsenal 1 down at half time. Me:eh, we lost today so Arsenal will have a comeback to sour my day. Went back to sleep checked bbc and they're 2 down. I take that as a consolation from today's loss at Anfield.

weller54 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Southampton reinvigorated! Arsenal getting a tonking!!!
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 So.... we are top of the league, say we're STILL top of the league. An unexpected boost for the squad I imagine.
crisp packet Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 How far have we come? Lose our 1st away game of the season fail to score away for the 1st time this season ? Still 2 points top . Ha ha
tyfox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Looks like a few teams not firing at all today , Southampton winning this will put a smile back on my face
