Captain... Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Arsenal win their game in hand and they are right behind Spurs, put that pressure on them.
Great Boos Up Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 The point is: Spuds narrowed the gab by only a point but now have only 6 to play. In fact only 5 to play with our points advantage. In reality only four to play to win the league.

surrifox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Arsenal win their game in hand and they are right behind Spurs, put that pressure on them. Arse have a pretty undemanding run in (w Ham excepted)
RobHawk Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Whatever happens tomorrow, we are another game down and will still have a games worth of points in hand. Looking forward to tomorrow, it's up to us now!

In reality only four to play to win the league. Thats how I calculate it...but it really is, for the chasers...'the last 4 game hope'. This wkend nor next wins or loses the title. Lets see if Claudio's nous still has hold in the players minds.
Kendal Fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Just changing the subject, does anyone know if Morgan arrived back in the UK on Thursday or Friday? Just trying to work out how much rest he will have gotten before tomorrow!
ousefox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 How bad was Moss in that game for both sides. What an awful referee.
Danno Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Just changing the subject, does anyone know if Morgan arrived back in the UK on Thursday or Friday? Just trying to work out how much rest he will have gotten before tomorrow!why of all things would you want to do this on a saturday evening
Kendal Fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 why of all things would you want to do this on a saturday evening Ha ha! Just worried about the jet lag. But, what will be will be. Apologies if it irked anyone. Just, an amazing opportunity for us tomorrow.
biggs Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Arsenal and City made it quite clear today, they haven't quit. GD is going to be tight with the top 4 teams.
Clever Fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Great result for us, But you cannot fault Spurs for effort today, They were magnificent and made a goal out of nothing. Their clearly up for the challenge and pushing us all the way. We just have to match their effort and take our chances when they come. It won't be easy but we have the added incentive of going 7 points clear of Spurs if we win. Spurs also have to play Utd next Week and Chelsea to come. I can't see either Utd or Chelsea doing them any favours.
LanguedocFox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 As they say it's over for us for tomorrow to do the business, massive opportunity been given us to extend our a lead and I honestly believe a win tomorrow could settle it! seven point lead with six games to go doesn't sound bad at all! Been reflecting on this over a couple of glasses of red, and I think that the Spurs result puts a fascinating psychological spin on our result tomorrow. If we win, we will extend our lead to seven, which will hurt them big-time (cudda, shudda, wudda won). If we draw, our lead will remain the same at five points. If we lose, our lead will "only" be four points, so Spurs can think that they are reeling us in… So interesting. And even more interesting is the fact that, after tomorrow, we have the chance to put incredible pressure on Spurs, because for the next four games, we play before them. Think how we felt this evening, and imagine how they are going to feel if we win or even draw any/all of those games. I can almost hear the sound of anal sphincters tightening in Norf Lahdahn.
Izzy Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Just changing the subject, does anyone know if Morgan arrived back in the UK on Thursday or Friday? Just trying to work out how much rest he will have gotten before tomorrow! Bless ya. You sound like a worried mother
LanguedocFox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Arsenal and City made it quite clear today, they haven't quit. GD is going to be tight with the top 4 teams. I think points are going to be much more important. Man City have to make up 12 points on us, and Arsenal eight points. That would be OK at Christmas, but with seven games to go, it is a big ask. I'm not saying it won't happen, but City will have to implode massively for them to catch us, and we've not done that for the past year.
WesMorganGod Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Just changing the subject, does anyone know if Morgan arrived back in the UK on Thursday or Friday? Just trying to work out how much rest he will have gotten before tomorrow! he can come back at 11am tomorrow and still be the best player on the field.
Kendal Fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Bless ya. You sound like a worried mother It's not easy.. Being a Fox!!
Clever Fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 We just have to take care of our own business, One game at a time, get a result and move on. However I do think a win tomorrow i massive, because it gives the others nothing to grasp at. That's just as important as anything. It means they'll be going into games next week believing there's nothing they can do to catch us.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Looking at the fixtures, Arsenal with a game in hand on Spurs... Spurs could well end up third in all honesty
WesMorganGod Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 we will be lifting our prem trophy in the home game against Everton, its beyond obvious to me. pay whatever you can for a black market ticket for that game, you will never regret it.

I'm confident in our ability to get the job done but it is going to be one heck of a run in this year. Every 3 pts we get, the more I move towards the Shingi smile
WesMorganGod Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Spurs were lucky to get a draw today, Liverpool had most of the best chances. Spurs look exhausted, and have done for a few weeks. Come the end I doubt they will be within 7-8 Points of us, won't even be close. Could even be as much as 10 points when its finished the full 38 games.
kyleolly Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 I believe the end to this season will become like the end of our championship winning season can anybody tell me what the league looked like the year we won the championship in the 1st week of April?
