Guest Col city fan Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Www.colcityfan.com/itoldyouso/actuallycongratscolhopeeverythingsgoingwell It was a great day. Cheers mate.
Guest ttfn Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Fair play to Spurs, 4 points from Liverpool (a) and Man United (h) is a decent return. If they can better our result next weekend they've still got a chance. We win next weekend and it's all over as far as I'm concerned and I'm a massive pessimist.
elvisfmcfly Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Im thinking spurs will only drop 2 or 3 more points so i think if we get 2 wins and a draw from our last 5 it should be enough to win the league but best just to get the 3 wins to be safe, swansea everton and man u? West ham is gonna be tricky.
Guest ttfn Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Funny how Pochettino teams always tire at the end of the season and this year Spurs aren't tiring and yet it is their challengers who are being viewed with suspicion. Probably just the case that their sports science has moved on, much like ours.

This is the only reason that I'm still nervous. These were the two biggest games they had left and they've come away with 4 points, which is nothing to be disappointed with really. Their last 5 is definitely easier than ours.

It is but realistically they need to win 5, I just can't see them beating Chelsea and Stoke on a Monday night isn't easy. I think they'll win 4 and draw one.United at home really isn't a tough game anymore unfortunately.

Their last 5 is definitely easier than ours. this would be enough to make me tear my hair out if we didn't have a 7 point head-start. they will, i reckon, pick up more points than us in the next 5 games. but 7 more? out of a possible 15? nah. we've got 3 home games and two of them are against teams in the bottom 7. 6 points from those two, on paper, easy home games and we're on 78 which leaves spurs having to win every game to catch us. that'll be enough before we even take into account the fact we'll (almost definitely) get a few more points from our "trickier" games.

Fair play to spuds like fvck.I hope they have a dodgy kebab next weekend and have to play the under 12's. Fvck em I hate em and have no respect cvnts. Infact rather the sheep or florets win it than spuds.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 No need to worry about Spurs, 3 wins and even if they win every game 5 nil they can't catch us. We have winnable games and I can't see us not getting 9 points from those 5
STUHILL Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 No need to worry about Spurs, 3 wins and even if they win every game 5 nil they can't catch us. We have winnable games and I can't see us not getting 9 points from those 5 I hope so. Maybe Stoke can do us a favour and I think knowing Pulis and how pro-Leicester winning the league he is, he will do his best defensive job yet on Spurs in their game. If ever there was someone who could get a 0-0, it is Pulis! 9 points sounds achievable but, but I am still struggling to enjoy these games!
Grey Fox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Spurs haven't won 5 games on the trot all year if that makes people feel better. Am I right in saying if they draw a game we just need two wins and a draw? Including today they have to win 6 to stop us (IMO). They are a very good side but I do see them dropping 2 points somewhere before the end. If they do that we need 7 points (2 wins and a draw). If we beat West Ham it's over for me. Then we would probably need 1 win and 1 draw from 4 games, including 2 winnable home games. West Ham is our hardest game left IMO, but they play mid week so will hopefully be tired even if they go out. If they get through they will be very focussed on Wembley the weekend after. They certainly wouldn't want any injuries or suspensions for that one.
HighPeakFox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 lol I do wonder what peoples' motivations are on these forums sometimes
leicesterfoxcity Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Can see Spurs dominating for many years so let's enjoy this while we can.
Danizen Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Can see Spurs dominating for many years so let's enjoy this while we can. You've posted twice and you've been rumbled. Clearly a Spurs fan.
weller54 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Can see Spurs dominating for many years so let's enjoy this while we can. Jesus there's enough of their own deluded twatish fans about without our fans spaffing on about them!

Absolutley their fans have had **** all class, sheer bitterness for doing better than them in a season that would be theirs if not for us.utter ***** the lot of them.
Stadt Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I do wonder what peoples' motivations are on these forums sometimes If something is 'peak' it means classic or typical like when Arsenal bottle it people would say that's peak Arsenal but Col said that he said he was right (as usual)
katieakita Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Stoke have drawn at home to us and Arsenal and beaten both Manchester clubs so anyone thinking Spurs winning on a Monday night is a given must be very confident. Chelsea will do them no favours and WBA and Soton will not roll over, Southampton loathe them and owe them one, Newcastle might have something still to play for last game of the season. Can I see Spurs winning all 5 now the pressure is on no, can i see us getting 9pts from our last 5 yes so any points next week are another nail in their chances.
HighPeakFox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 If something is 'peak' it means classic or typical like when Arsenal bottle it people would say that's peak Arsenal but Col said that he said he was right (as usual) I'm wrong plenty, in case it was aimed at me - you seem to be saying otherwise, however

Probably just the case that their sports science has moved on, much like ours. It's pretty interesting that Pochettino has been heavily influenced by Bielsa whose sides often fade away into the latter stages due to being exhausted due to the sheer scale of the pressing. Earlier on in the season we pressed quite aggressively but Ranieri's curtailed that recently so we're completely fresh for the run in and it lessens the injury risk too. I'm wrong plenty, in case it was aimed at me - you seem to be saying otherwise, however yeah it wasn't anything to do you with you haha
Koke Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Can see Spurs dominating for many years so let's enjoy this while we can. Their side is a bit overrated. Any other year they'd be struggling to get into top 4 with their point tally. It's funny we get crap for leading a "poor league" but Spurs get their arse licked for being 7 points behind the leaders.
