Guest Bilo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Look at the bright side. Champions League guaranteed Our five remaining games are against three sides who have little to play for in Swansea, Everton and Chelsea, a Manchester United side who look their worst since before Ferguson took over 30 years ago and a very good West Ham side - in which we're at home. The games are still running out for Tottenham - a seven point gaps still means they need a three game swing with tough games at Stoke, London rivals Chelsea, a Southampton side who are still fighting for a European place and a trip to St James' to play a Newcastle side who are fighting for their lives - a very different proposition to playing them at home. Remember, they don't just need to match us, they need to gain seven more points from their run in than we get from ours to overhaul us In short, they'd still rather be in our position than theirs.
chapero82 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 We will be down to four point gap next week as I can see us losing to West Ham
Blanesta Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 We will be down to four point gap next week as I can see us losing to West Ham
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 a Newcastle side who are fighting for their lives A step too far - this hasn't been evident at any point in the season so far and they're unlikely to start anytime soon.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 To be fair, Spurs have been sensational this half. The problem is LVG is utterly utterly clueless. He'll be gone.
foxfanazer Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Spurs totally deserved the winYep, United did roll over second half though
biggs Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 We will be down to four point gap next week as I can see us losing to West Ham F^ck off
CFCFAN1 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 We play Spurs in a few weeks and trust me, we will not be letting them off the hook as easy as United have done. Our fans won't accept that whatsoever, we'll be desperate to beat them to stop them winning the league. Especially by then the likes of Costa, Hazard, JT and Willian will be back from injuries and suspensions. They haven't beaten us at the Bridge in over 20 years. Good luck guys!
Guest Bilo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 A step too far - this hasn't been evident at any point in the season so far and they're unlikely to start anytime soon. Different proposition when the chips are really down and they're at home. They needed, and got, a win against West Ham on the last day of last season to guarantee survival.
Corky Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 As it was (apart from one goal) at the start of the day with one fewer match to play. Great day for us.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I think it'll still be a 7 point gap next week. We both have tough games against West Ham and Stoke respectively, and I can see both being draws.
Tuna Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Turned off after the second goal. That sort of capitulation is embarassing, shame on you LVG. Please play like this against us and roll over
yorkie1999 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Hmmmm really?19 1st division titles, 3 europeon cups, 11 fa cups, 4 league cups etc etc, says theyre not shit.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 As it was (apart from one goal) at the start of the day with one fewer match to play. Great day for us. Plus guaranteed CL football next season. We can now finish no lower than fourth.
promised land Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Question: When did Man Utd stop being Man Utd? When Sir Alex stepped down.
surrifox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 W Ham play in midweek which isn't all bad from our perspective

Especially by then the likes of Costa, Hazard, JT and Willian will be back from injuries and suspensions. They haven't beaten us at the Bridge in over 20 years. Good luck guys! The thing is, the league hasn't seen such a Spurs side for the better part of 20 years. Thanks for the assistance, but we also need to make sure we fulfill our part of the deal.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 19 1st division titles, 3 europeon cups, 11 fa cups, 4 league cups etc etc, says theyre not shit. No, it means they have had outstanding teams in the past. Since Ferguson left, they've looked in serious danger of going the way of Liverpool.
