shen Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Their side is a bit overrated. Any other year they'd be struggling to get into top 4 with their point tally. It's funny we get crap for leading a "poor league" but Spurs get their arse licked for being 7 points behind the leaders. It's not an overrated side really. It's a very young side that's already outperforming far more experienced sides. They currently on course for a 75+ points finish, hardly 'struggling' top 4 form that, and they'll likely improve with time.
weller54 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Hope the new stadium bankrupts the Spuds.. Arrogant twats!
Captain... Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Have there been many penalties given for what could be seen as unintentional hanball a la the Huth incidents, Simpson etc. this season? Or have they consistently not been given? There's been a lot of fuss about the lack of clarity but the refs have dealt with them pretty consistently in our last couple of games. Dyer against Spurs in the cup, Sterling vs Spurs are 2 that spring to mind.
martyn Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Assuming Spurs keep Pochettino and Levy can resist the temptation to sell their best players for huge money, they will be around the top for years to come. They are an excellent side who play good football. Shame that the vast majority of the fans on their forum have lost the plot, but that shouldn't detract from their team.

If Kane and Ali go, then they will just be spurs again. Those two get them out of trouble so often, same with us and Vardy / Mahrez. Turn losses to draws and draws into wins.

Turn losses to draws and draws into wins. I don't see any of them leaving this summer, they wouldn't go to Arsenal and probably don't fit Pep's plans for Man City, unless United scrape into the champion's league and poach Pochettino, then they could follow, but again I don't see him leaving. I doubt they would interest any of the European giants and nobody else in Europe could match their wages. So the only club they could go to for champion's league football is us, but they wouldn't get in our team. I think the test will be next season when normal service will most likely be resumed with Man City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal all capable and likely of improving on what has been a poor season for them, Liverpool well hope to get the full Klopp effect after a proper preseason and Spurs, like us, will have expectations and champions league distractions. If they fail to make an impact on the CL and don't finish in the top 4 again, then they could see some big money come in for Ali, Kane, Dier etc They will also have the new ground development causing financial and logistical disruption. It would be a shame to see the financial heavy weights come in and pluck away all their best players and the status quo restored at the top, I guess that is all down to Levy and whether he has the balls to turn down a big money offer like Everton did for Stones, or just see the pound signs and sell his assets, like he did with Bale when they were on the cusp of breaking the top 4 while Chelsea, United and City were all in managerial transition.

Spurs are a club without heart or regard for their supporters they prove this over and over again and of course Levy will sell - he cant help himself
Dan Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Spurs fans use a knife in the left hand and fork in the right
kingcarr21 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Spurs fans use a knife in the left hand and fork in the right My daughter and father in law do this. I've had countless arguments with them about how ridiculous it is They are both right handed and yet cant grasp the idea of cutting your food with a knife in your strong hand
johnny the fox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Spurs fans use a knife in the left hand and fork in the right And they hold the putter... left hand lower down the shaft... I never hold my shaft like that...

Not heard of ambidexterity though? It's not hard to grasp that you can do it the other way!

Just like with us, it would hurt them immensely to lose the heart of the side which includes him, Dembele, Dier, Alderweireld or Lloris.
Babylon Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 as I stated they are both right handed. My daughter still asks me to cut her food up for her. It's a bit weird if you can't cut your own food. I eat cack handed but have no issue with cutting, swap them round though and I'd probably look like someone using chop sticks for the first time.

CFCFAN1 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Just a quick question, I don't know much about Leicester and I'm intrigued to see what clubs in the Premier League you guys really dislike? I imagine Chelsea are up there!
kingcarr21 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 but if youre left handed its socially acceptable to have the knife in your left? I would assume so as it is your strong hand
