FireFox Posted 16 February 2016 Posted 16 February 2016 Admiral is 17. Beaglehole says his goal was "definitely not offside". Here's a fun little video from a while ago: https://vimeo.com/146933597 (Also a Schmeichel interview there too after the Liverpool defeat) The club's tweets suggested Iversen kept us in the game. Looking forward to the highlights.
cruyff99 Posted 16 February 2016 Posted 16 February 2016 and the new keeper? Thought Iversen played really well, great potential. I've said in one of the other threads that Amartey didn't play well, but that could be because he's still rusty and hasn't played competitively for a bit.
Vicki Vixen Posted 16 February 2016 Posted 16 February 2016 Despite that win, we are still bottom of the U21 premier league. Expect to see us continue to field strong teams until we get out of the relegation zone.
Webbo Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 What happened to that UEFA youth league, did we enter this year?
TheMightySystem Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 Good to see how Choudhury does at league 1 level
TheMightySystem Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 That's impressive. Isn't he 16/17? Think he is 18? Still playing for the U18 and steped up to the U21 at times last season. Impressive none the less though. He's on the bench for todays game as well.
lgfualol Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 was interested in how he did, I think he played for 12 mins but good early days comments http://burtonbrewers.proboards.com/thread/2283/hamza-choudary-signs?page=1
lgfualol Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Just read Barmby might be going to Portland Timbers on loan

lgfualol Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 No great loss - another one who seems to have fallen out of love with the game That's kinda depressing but I guess so much u21 football will do that. Maybe a change of scenery in a league where he will be good will help.
Bedford Fox Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Anyone going tonight? Or heard a whisper of team news?
lgfualol Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 2-0 against Southampton Dodoo and Muskwe Dodoo's loan to Bury went a bit quiet.
Foxxed Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Admiral Muskwe, let's use his full name. Is Dodoo playing as a striker or winger? He's been knocking them in pretty consistently lately. His loan wasn't for too long, and just ended, I thought?
americanfox Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 That's kinda depressing but I guess so much u21 football will do that. Maybe a change of scenery in a league where he will be good will help. Heck, at least he gets to live in a really cool city with a very passionate fanbase. Aside from having to play on turf, he's going to play with a team that plays pretty positively.
Foxxed Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Only five more matches to get out of the bottom three: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/barclays-u21-premier-league-tables.html?paramYouthStage=NATIONAL Oh apparently we only need to finish out of the bottom two.
FoxFromCoalville Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 2-1 Leicester. Liam and Elliott Moore sensational at the back
TheMightySystem Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 2-1 Leicester. Liam and Elliott Moore sensational at the back Good to hear Liam playing well, how was Amartey?
indierich06 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 What's happened to Layton Ndukwu? Thought he'd be making a bit more of a name for himself this season.
Footballwipe Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Not read the thread so I don't know if this has been mentioned, but if we do finish in the UCL places it means we'll be entered into the UEFA Youth League, along with all other qualifiers. Same format as the UCL itself with the same teams in identical groups, with the semi-finals and final held in Nyon, Switzerland. Not only would this be an excellent test for the youngsters, but would it also ramp up our youth recruitment and strengthen our attractiveness as a team?
