Babylon Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Absolutely no chance we'd sell for £5m, there is just no need. On top of that he's got a lot to do to get to that level, his final ball needs to improve a lot next year.
stevelcfc Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 If people are talking about Bolasie and £40m then jeff has to be worth at least £25m

Babylon Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Would imagine he has more assists than most this season but I get your point. Who do you define as most? Those playing for us in comparable positions are drastically better stat wise. That's no slight on Jeff as I appreciate what he brings, but that's the main area he needs to work on.

Maybe Arsenal want someone to hit crosses as hard as humanly possible to areas nobody can reach. They haven't had that for years.
Richard Kingson Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Definitely. Jeff's got pure pace over Mahrez but creatively he's still got some way to go. Re those stats, though - Mahrez does take the majority of set-pieces so hos numbers will inevitably be higher.
ScouseFox Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Yeah £5m for his footballing ability is fair, they can add another £10m on to that for his entertainment value before we are talking. absolutely this. his facial expressions are worth at least 6 mill
suffolk fox Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Somebody better tell him it's only papertalk and a rumour. If an Arsenal fan gets to him first and says, "Jeff we are signing you for 5 million" I can see him turning up at their training ground with his boots.

MrSpaM Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 It's not really beyond the realms of ridiculous is it, Man Utd only had him on trial two seasons ago, and he's got a lot better since then

Mahrez has more than 3 assists surely?

Babylon Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 What is the criteria for an assist oficially? Mahrez has more than 3 assists surely? All the stat websites have him down as three. Probably seems more because he's set up some of the easiest chances imaginable, only to be missed by our strikers. If they could convert one on ones he'd have about 10 assists.
4everfox Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Dress him up as sterling so we can get a bit more dosh How are we going to do that? Strap a dildo to his head?
queensguardfox Posted 27 May 2015 Author Posted 27 May 2015 https://www.clubcall.com/leicester-city/foxes-to-reject-schlupp-shilling-1770616.html? an obvious article but offer will be rejected......
jonah Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 yes please!! nnfox's Photonnfox Yesterday, 11:11 PM I'd take 7m. Max Power's PhotoMax Power Yesterday, 11:13 PM Add another zero Bergamo_Fox's Photo 0.7m???
NewquayFox Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Decent player/asset in our squad but don't honestly think he's good enough for a top 4 club, can't see our owners letting any of our decent players go unless they ask for a move..... Up the City..... Fried chicken..... ;0)
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 absolutely this. his facial expressions are worth at least 6 mill By your reckoning then, King is worth 30mill
Robin JD Popley Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 They clearly aren't basing this £5m price tag on his shooting ability this season. Massive improvement but as I've said elsewhere, young player of the season category this year was less fiercly contested than the Championship winning season. That said, there is no need to sell and I doubt he'll leave so not up for discussion again probably.
gurru991 Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 See what another year playing Premier brings for him. Way too early to let him go & I don't see Pearson selling any first team starters just yet.
lestalee Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 If he's worth 5/6mill now this time nxt season I'll b double that if not more.....

Screen Shot 2015-05-27 at 08.16.10.png Judging by your stats I think I will define most as in most in the squad . I didn't suggest I had studied the stats I just had a feeling he would be pretty high in the assist ranks for us but I get your point.
sdb Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Let's not forget he's pretty much owned that left side over recent months. Can't remember any opposition players winning their individual battles with Jeff during our run and considering he's often up against a winger AND a full back that's mighty impressive. Not only has he defended well but he's constantly looking to get forward too. His attitude is exceptional and £5mill is no where near his worth. Yes his distribution at times requires improvement but he's still young and a player I expect a lot more to come from. He's our young player and players' player for God sake!
