Dan Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 No sooner had you written that than Townsend had walloped a cross 15 metres past the nearest England player Predictable stuff. At least he's attempting to make things happen though.
Monsell1976 Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 What a shit game of football, pointless friendly, and a wasted chance to try the fringe players from the start
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 What a shit game of football, pointless friendly, and a wasted chance to try the fringe players from the startI can't see why Vardy wasn't given a lot longer... pointless friendly end of season and all
Soar Fox Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Was that Stu from here stood with his arms aloft singing??
Guest ttfn Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 I think Vardy's done alright - enough to put him in contention
Soar Fox Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 was that TYOTF i just saw In the navy t-shirt? I think it was
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Boring friendly really... purely treated like a warm up for the competitive matches coming up... never got out of first gear either side really
GingerrrFox Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Vardy should have started. Those England players that started didn't give a shit. They may as well scrap international football if that's the effort level.
Finnaldo Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Vardy looked alright when England bothered to even try an attack.
Webbo Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Fair play to Ireland, a 0-0 against England is like winning the world cup for them.
Corky Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Waste of time, Vardy came on too late to make any real impact and why bother selecting Austin at all? Rooney's touch when through on goal summed it up. Hafl expected Trevor Brooking and Glenn Hoddle to come on for someone's testimonial it was that laboured.
orangecity23 Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Vardy did more in 15 minutes than Rooney did in 75. Rooney offered absolutely nothing, no effort, appalling first touch, and when he got a golden chance he had a first touch so bad that anyone else would have been crucified for it. He's a terrible England captain, guaranteeing him a place in this team regardless of effort just encourages everything bad about his game.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Fair play to Ireland, a 0-0 against England is like winning the world cup for them. They did draw to Germany in a competitive match recently.. both sides just purely treated this like a training exercise
Lestoh Posted 7 June 2015 Posted 7 June 2015 Walcott on the left, Austin down the middle and Vardy on the right for Slovenia please.
