Konaté could've had even more than 16 goals last season if he hadn't started featuring for the team as late as matchday eight. Alongside two other additions, Veroljub Salatic and Reto Ziegler (ex-Spurs), he acted as the main component in Sion's rise up the table. Together with Carlitos, he played FC Basel off the park in their own stadium in the cup final on Sunday. Still, can't envisage him being a Pearson player. As odd as it may sound - despite his talent, he needs to show more consistency and better workrates. One outstanding season alone in a rather mediocre league (with about two to three good teams, five to six average ones and about two weak ones) doesn't mean a lot. More likely to join a Ligue 1 side.
