deejdeej Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Preki's song to us.. Preki baby.... Let me f**k your club right up, and then blame Top, Let me play with your squad Leicester, make you real flops, Gonna sign some garbage players they'll be really poo, Cause tonight City I'm gonna get Preki with you!!! Another level
Fox Ulike Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Steve Bruce or dyche To be fair, you can't really knock Dyche's achievements as a Manager. He's young and has been very successful on limited resources at Burnley. The fact that he's a bit of a cock will put some people off. But let's face it, Pearson is a bit of a cock too. If we can't go crawling back to Nigel, then I wouldn't mind Dyche.
Aus Fox Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 What about Carlos Queiroz? Big name in Asia and in Europe, has PRemier League experience.
Blanesta Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Jesus Christ ... Id rather have my apprentice in charge and he has just learnt to tie his laces .... Day by day the candidates get worse .... The guy manages a absolute joke of a team in the MLS what on Earth are our owners thinking ?! it's not even the MLS it's the ULS, and that's like our division 1, except it's the American equivalent, so I wouldn't like to think how good they are.
ramboacdc Posted 9 July 2015 Author Posted 9 July 2015 This is driving me nuts. Can the club not release some sort of statement saying they are in the process of talks with someone/people, at least have made a shortlist, some one is in temporary charge, anything. And while they're at it assure us that we are not going to have a THIRD TIER American coach as our new manager? Is that too much to ask? F*** this situation oh god your sig just killed me.
ScouseFox Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 I don't think you're ready for his jelly I don't think you're ready for his jelly I don't think your ready for him cos his body's too prekilicious for ya babe

RedSoxUK Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Just a thought. This goes back to Dec/Jan when we binned Terry Robinson and appointed Jon Rudkin as DoF - it was clear Terry wasn't exactly pulling the gun on the targets sought out by Walsh's scouting team and Pearson was obviously a little pissed, but hey Terry still managed to bring in Ulloa and Cambi; Pearson's role in all of this was as expected of the modern 'manager', to sit back and let the DoF take care of business and share the blame if it goes tits up on-field due to the off-field. Perhaps Pearson was binned due to the differences in the boardroom between what the DoF and board see as the right direction for Leicester, and that's by appointing a non-egotistical manager unlikely to bring the brand into disrepute regardless of Pearson's successes, he was tinted. Although this Preki seems like a bad dream, he won't be appointed as manager the same way Pearson was technically considered Head Coach. I think Jon Rudkin has been considerably better already than his predecessor of DoF and is relishing his opportunity within football management at the minute and we're likely safe with Rudkin pulling the strings. That's why I don't think Hiddink will be coming in as a DoF and the Bradley rumour is rubbish unless Preki is coming in as his assistant which means bye-bye Shakespeare/Walsh. If the owners appoint Preki, it's because they want a puppet for their behaviour and Rudkin's ideas / team assembling. Hopefully, hopefully... this isn't true because I believe we need a strong man-manager regardless of position or league and Preki won't be as respected as Pearson was by this team. But it's not out of the question, Preki could easily be the new head coach, perhaps he's a tactical god, none of us have seen him turn a 3 - 1 game round to 3 - 4. You have to expect owners / DoF's to move towards a more statistical and financially stable future with their coach/manager options. Brentford did the same by getting in Dutch unknown Marinus Dijkhuizen. We'll see..
FireFox Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 How does the Bob Bradley thread get merged but this one isn't locked? The guy probably doesn't have any of the coaching badges required.
Mark_w Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 How does the Bob Bradley thread get merged but this one isn't locked? The guy probably doesn't have any of the coaching badges required. Because the bookies and the fact he's resigned give a good indication that this is very plausible where as there's basically nothing to support the suggestion we'll sign Bradley. That'd be my guess anyway.

F*** this situation +1 just for the sig and avatar Still, this is ridiculous. I'm hoping that the reason the club hasn't said anything about the rumours because it's not happening - if it were surely they'd announce it.

Gerard Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 It's not going to be Preki, he's drifting like a barge on Betfair. The only money backing him is at 40/1. http://sports.betfair.com/Index.do?mi=119328070&ex=1&origin=MRL

That'd be my guess anyway. The Klopp thread got to how many pages before getting locked though. That was all based on the bookies. And Bradley is up there too now I believe? So it is because he resigned saying he has the chance to prove himself at a position at the highest level in the UK? So could be a team challenging for promotion, could be a coaching role, could be a manager role outside England... But without the badges, manager of a Premier League club? That isn't very plausible.
Blanesta Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 How does the Bob Bradley thread get merged but this one isn't locked? The guy probably doesn't have any of the coaching badges required. Because there's no information to go on about Bob Bradley, the only reason this thread is going is because of a drop in odds and people connecting the dots, and the issue with Preki being the craziest potential suitor to our club. Bob Bradley is being discussed as an explanation for the Preki situation, so it's best in this thread.

cc_star Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 on interested, surely Lennon would be too if asked Hiddink appears to have turned us down after speaking to owners last Friday, favouring retirement... at least until a high paid international job comes up like Azerbaijan or something. Klopp appears to have spoke through the press saying, it's pure fantasy that he'd join us. MoN has turned them down at least twice & he's hardly hot property given Ireland's woeful style & the turgid shite at Sunderland There doesn't appear to be anything in Bradley, other than his name has been mentioned via a link to the Preki fiasco yesterday Dyche?
Fox Ulike Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Dyche is a massive step backwards, what on earth are you saying. Well, any of the credible candidates is going to be a massive step backwards. We have to accept that I guess. I Just think that Dyche would possibly make less of a mess than someone like Ranieri, and unlike Lennon has actually managed in the Premiership. Realistically, who else is there? Paul Lambert?
