Ollie93 Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 ahahahahahahahajsjjakfh I'm crying at that. this is completely irrelevant but it's really annoying that you've spelt Pete Doherty's name wrong in your sig
The Doctor Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 this is completely irrelevant but it's really annoying that you've spelt Pete Doherty's name wrong in your sig Well, with the amount of drugs he's taken he probably can't spell it right either.
Fox Ulike Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 on interested, surely Lennon would be too if asked Hiddink appears to have turned us down after speaking to owners last Friday, favouring retirement... at least until a high paid international job comes up like Azerbaijan or something. Klopp appears to have spoke through the press saying, it's pure fantasy that he'd join us. MoN has turned them down at least twice & he's hardly hot property given Ireland's woeful style & the turgid shite at Sunderland There doesn't appear to be anything in Bradley, other than his name has been mentioned via a link to the Preki fiasco yesterday Dyche? Yeah I laughed when I first thought of Dyche... but think about it. What we need is somebody who is going to continue Pearson's good work - not rip it up and start again... What made Burnley successful was the same things that made us successful. A small, tight squad, hard work, siege mentality, never knowing when you're beaten, team ethic, no big stars etc etc. Dyche seems to be cut from the same cloth as Pearson. We've also had quite a close competitiveness with Burnley over the past two years. So I reckon Dyche will already know a lot about us. If someone like Ranieri or even Hiddink comes in, is he going to understand the squad mentality and ethic that has brought us success?
Mark_w Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 New badge proposal Genius. Make a Pearson FC logo, we can start a phoenix club.
themotivator Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 New badge proposal http://www.eclipseflags.com/giantflags.html
ARM1968 Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 I frickin detest Dyche, but he would be infinitely preferable to Preki.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 http://www.eclipseflags.com/giantflags.html I'd happily pay towards this if we start with season with no named manager or a manager generally regarded as not-fit-for-purpose

Some of his signings were beyond embarrassing. He's just another Holloway - does ok at small clubs for the reasons you mention, he'd be totally out of his depth at a big club like us. I'm not interested in 'the best of a bad bunch' manager, if they''re shit, I'm not interested.
davieG Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 We already have a Director of Football in Rudkin and a Football Operations Director in Neville and if what we are lead to believe both are part of the recruitment team for a new manager so I really can't see us having another DofE and a Coach surely a straight forward manager, who might call himself a Head Coach and some assistants is what we'll end up with.
ramboacdc Posted 9 July 2015 Author Posted 9 July 2015 just had a load of verified journalists from the california area follow me on twitter....worried!
Nalis Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 That WTF badge deserves to be the most repped post ever if I'm honest.
Mark_w Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 I can't believe the club have the nerve to be tweeting a countdown to the new season while this shit is going on.
MattyFromLE Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 I can't believe the club have the nerve to be tweeting a countdown to the new season while this shit is going on. They're not just going to shut down completely though are they? The owners / panel will be tucked away somewhere looking at possible replacements as we speak. The club should remain "business as usual". Personally though, to ease the obvious negativity - they should release some form of statement regarding what they're doing. Most of what we have heard is mere paper talk.
Babylon Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Sorry but he's crap. Some of his signings were beyond embarrassing. So if you kept our recruitment team and they did the scouting / picking of players?
Singha Beer Is Good! Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Are we officially now the laughing stock of British football....what a joke!
BigMicky Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Are we officially now the laughing stock of British football....what a joke! Nah its still Liverpool and Newcastle.
Joepeace09 Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Are we officially now the laughing stock of British football....what a joke! We could have Fawaz in charge.
MPH Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Must admit... In 5 years time we could consider a few threads absolute comedy gold. In one thread we are pining for Klopp.. In another the sudden realization is that we were getting heavily linked with a virtual unknown in the managerial world known as preki! From a European super power to American 3rd tier football!
