JohnnyB Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 From the sky article http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11712/9907395? But a source close to Preki has hinted he could take a coaching or technical role and says it would be a surprise if he took the manager's job.
fox_favourite Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 It's like being me promoted from Head of Faculty in a secondary school (which I do now) straight to Secretary of state for education - it'll be a disaster. It's like employing an Education Secretary without any experience of schools and is nuts!! Oh wait, Michael Gove...bad example
J.Lisemore Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 There better be news today because I'm losing my fvcking mind.
weller54 Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 I'd take peter Reid right now, Sven anyone? Prefer Suzanna Reid , with Rachel as her assistant !. .
Guest Foxin_mad Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Surely anyone with mediocre success in Football manager have more credentials than him.

But a source close to Preki has hinted he could take a coaching or technical role and says it would be a surprise if he took the manager's job. He still has insufficient qualifications for those roles in my opinion.
weller54 Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Positive note... Think of all of those cheerleaders !!
st albans fox Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Many of the great coaches started in the non leagues. Why do you have to be coaching at the highest level to be a good coach? Anyway, that's not necessarily related. He isn't going to be our manager but he might be on our coaching staff. And I doubt nige would find it so easy being parachuted into the USA 3rd tier. Probably break some stuff by the end of the second day!

But a source close to Preki has hinted he could take a coaching or technical role and says it would be a surprise if he took the manager's job. Technical Role? Technical? Surely if he was that "technical" he wouldn't be managing in the 3rd division in a country where they think football involves using your hands?! Lets hope its IT technical or lighting...
Devonfox1884 Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 If this happens it is a complete disgrace, and I for one would want to protest.
davieG Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 This is Leicester City Football Club anything can, will and does happen. We're a club that seemingly feels compelled to shoot itself in the foot periodically and is afraid of success. Deja vu is alive and well in my house.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 I put this in the poll, I just can't fathom this. It genuinely looks like this is the guy we are getting. Wtf,? Experienced and successful manager who has reformed our club from top to bottom is sacked in favour of a complete unknown quantity with no experience in managing in England, no matter the premier league. Madness has ensued over the last few weeks and I for one feel like we are losing our identity as a club. It's saddening. So he was sacked because they favor this guy?
SpacedX Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Positive note... Think of all of those cheerleaders !! You've obviously forgotten how shite the 'Foxy Ladies' were.

Wortho Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 If this should happen Bradley/Preki, we will become the biggest laughing stock of the Premier. And certain for relegation. What a sh**show!!!!
Blue army boys Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Think of all them quality 3rd tier players he could bring with him. He'd surely get pick of the bunch
Sunbury Fox Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Any ideas on how we can stop this happening? Owners have turned into a cross between Vincent Tan, Fawaz and Ashley. Makes you realise that without Pearson the whole club is a shambles. Only at Leicester could we go from dreaming of Klopp to being fobbed off with this no mark in 3 days!
Tielemans63 Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 It's like employing an Education Secretary without any experience of schools and is nuts!! Oh wait, Michael Gove...bad example No, that's actually a good example. Proves the point perfectly.

Makes you realise that without Pearson the whole club is a shambles. Stop what happening? I have wondered about your last statement but until now, the evidence hasn't been on such a grand scale as per a terrible appointment as manager. Sousa could have been ok - he has done alright away from here and Sven just couldn't hack the championship. he was washed up by then, mentally and physically. If they do indeed make a terrible appointment over the next few weeks then perhaps I will agree with you. At this juncture, I couldn't. Tan and fawaz are a million miles away from our owners. we have enough hard evidence to support that.

Let's see what actually happens before slagging them off.
lgfualol Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 How is Bob Bradley a "clown"? Why are people so negative toward the idea of him being manager? I'm not saying he will be the greatest manager ever. I'm just curious. Is it because he is American? Or because he had a 36% and 31% win ratio a decade ago in the MLS? Nigel Pearson had a 36% win ratio with Hull and 31% last season. He did great for America and Egypt. And what he has done at Stabæk is incredible. The MLS is pretty about level with League 1, 10 years ago it was about level with Thurmaston Magpies under 16s. Cant compare to Nigel's record in proper leagues, especially the prem.
Ric Flair Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Hang on, why on earth would we be recruiting coaches or assistants whilst we haven't got a manager yet? The manager would put together his coaching team. This chap is either coming as head honcho (hopefully, I rate him) or not at all. Chill out, Preki's got this.
