But he’s also been linked to a consortium that is in the process of buying one of four high-level United Kingdom pro teams that are for sale. Preki reportedly would have some financial interest and coach the team. “I can’t elaborate as far as where I’m going or what I’m doing,” Preki said. “I feel like this opportunity has arrived, and I’m ready for it. Craig Posted 9 July 2015 Posted 9 July 2015 Stating the obvious but... He's coming here as 'head coach'/manager under a bigger name in a 'supervisory'/DOF role. That seems to be the structure that the owners are going for, and that seems to be the only way he'd fit in - as ridiculous as it would still be. Everything points to him coming here, everything. Some of his players have spoken to the media and said that he deserves this chance, he is a winner, etc. He has said that it's a lifetime dream. He smiled when asked about the rumours. If it weren't true why wouldn't he deny it? Nothing to stop him doing that. I would imagine that the only reason he can't say anything and we haven't announced it is that we are still trying to sort out the bloke he'll be working under, and they'll be announced together.
