Mark_w Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 It's fair to say I'm not a royalist, but that is such a non-story. Little girl gives Nazi salute in 1934 hold the front page.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 first she killed diana then this, she is #fearless
Vacamion Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Like all other Germans, her Maj was a bit of a Nazi in the 30s. That's not news to anyone. Her favourite song is Abba's "Danzig Queen"....
Nalis Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Like all other Germans, her Maj was a bit of a Nazi in the 30s. That's not news to anyone. Her favourite song is Abba's "Danzig Queen".... I heard it was 'You Got The Reich Stuff' by New Kids on the Block

Mike Oxlong Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Isn't the song Killer Queen about her plan to exterminate the lower classes?
johnny the fox Posted 18 July 2015 Author Posted 18 July 2015 I prefer "goose stepping out " by joe jackson..
separator Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 I prefer "goose stepping out " by joe jackson.. My favourite is 'For whom the Goebbels toll' by Metallica.
Buce Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 A little known fact about her Maj is that she likes Indian cuisine. Her favourite dish is swas-tikka masala...
DB11 Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 In 1934 you'd find that most people thought Hitler and the Nazis were quite good and revitalising Germany and its economy.

MPH Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Rumor has it, she's nicknamed prince Phillips personal toilet ' the gas chamber'
Danno Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 In 1934 you'd find that most people thought Hitler and the Nazis were quite good and revitalising Germany and its economy.Yeah, apart from Mein Kampf being published, Night of the Long Knives, the first concentration camps being opened and the rearmament of Germany. It's no surprise that billionaire, unelected heads of state who have a family history of bloodshed and colionalism are fascists. Not forgetting the Queen Mother had Hitler for tea and sent him personal letters which are kept secret and plotted with Hitler to win the throne after Germany had been defeated. She also married a man who had sisters married to high ranking Ss officers and had an uncle married to a Nazi.
Mark_w Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Yeah, apart from Mein Kampf being published, Night of the Long Knives, the first concentration camps being opened and the rearmament of Germany. Mein Kampf was a commercial flop wasn't it? Or am I making that up? We don't have an exact date but if it's 1933 or the first half of 1934 then the second and third don't apply. I don't know, but had the intricacies of Nazism really translated to Britain then? Of course I'm sure they would have to the royal family but I'm more interested from a general perspective. Either way it's pretty clear Edward was a fascist, but we knew that already. It's still not really a worthy news story, certainly not one that tells us anything at all about the Queen's political views.
Danno Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Many of the establishment were admirers of the Nazis and Hitler, it wasn't until they were a genuine threat to Britain that we actually confronted them. If you're sending letters and having him over for tea you must have some idea of what his plans are. Either way the royal family are a bunch of odious parasites.
katieakita Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Pretty sure Lord Rothermere owner of the daily Mail at the time thought highly of Hitler and thought he was the best thing to happen to Germany.
Mark_w Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Pretty sure Lord Rothermere owner of the daily Mail at the time thought highly of Hitler and thought he was the best thing to happen to Germany. Yeah the Daily Mail were very supportive of the BUF for a time.
Danno Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Yeah the Daily Mail were very supportive of the BUF for a time. They still are
