Apparently much worse in defence than he is at attacking and on Whoscored it shows him as having played only down the left (left back, left wing back, left winger) for Schalke last year, and I remember checking the last 10 Austria formations the last time somebody suggested he regularly starts there for them and I think he only started there once, or maybe not at all.

Max Power Posted 21 July 2015 Posted 21 July 2015 He's already said that players will get 45 mins, then a bit more then 90 as is the norm in these pre-season games so I doubt will see to much of anything. i think he'll just be seeing how individual players perform and whether they fit with his style at least until we get to the last friendlies where presumably they'll be more 90 min performances by his chosen starting team. THE TINKERMAN IS AT IT AGAIN. GET RID OF HIM.

Especially considering it looks like Chilwell is gonna play, plus there's Fuchs who (unconfirmed but) I assume plays best at LB. I think people are also forgetting (or trying to as I don't want him either) Simpson who still seems to be very much a part of the squad Also on a seperate note, does anyone know whether Albrighton is back and ready to be involved or not?
