RobHawk Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 So this is my 1287th post since i first joined the forum in Feb 2009, meaning on average about 3 posts per week. I started reading the forum about a year before i joined and i only tend to comment when i feel i have something worthwhile or interesting to contribute (not very often!) But i'm on here everyday, i know most of the posters and all of the stories. I've read the whole of the tinder thread but never commented on it, i was around for the face of kinder thread, I've argued politics with Moosebreath and Mattp, told lamby how to get a job, abused kingfox, argued with Babylon, discussed Welsh language/history with finnegan and i even sent Ken a horse card when he was in hospital. I feel like i really know you all, but i post so little that none of really know me and i realised its a little surreal! Just wondered if there were other lurkers out there, or if im the only unsociable misserable bastard around!

I used to post on the Official LCFC forum then someone mentioned a newish one so came to have a look and not been able to get away since. Just looked at my joining date July 27th will be my 11th aniversary with 21,239 posts. If I make it to 22,000 that will be 2000 a year /52 = per week /7 = posts per day. Makes you think dont it?

He'd not be able to resist posting if he did, he's like me, he can't help himself! Likewise, Lisa can't be arsed anymore, she gets her arguing fix at work. Carl, her husband, still posts on here so he probably keeps her informed! LD3 just grew out of it I think!

The vast majority get bored eventually. There's only a few slight weirdos who've been consistently active for the last decade!

I joined two days after you, and with 8110 post I considered myself a bit of lurker, but compared to you I'm prolific. I work out I'm posting roughly 23 times a week, which when comparing to the likes of ScouseFox is what made me consider myself a bit of a lurker.

Have only been to a handful of Leicester games in the last five years so don't post anything in the Leicester forums any more.

Certainly more recently! Its such a great section with some great topics! Living away from Leicester and struggling to get to many games, the football side of the forum is a real lifeline in the season to help keep me connected to whats really happening. But i very rarely post as everything will have already been said.

Usually because I find the point I wanted to make has already been made, or because I can't be bothered to post. FT is still a useful place to come though. I did use to be a regular poster at the old official forum back in the day, which has long since closed. Still, this is my 134th post in 9 years, is that some sort of record?
