Lurkers

I'm definitely a lurker.

Been on FT since the beginning and the mass exile from Talking Balls but I pretty much just read. Every day.

There's only a few slight weirdos who've been consistently active for the last decade!

I'll be here until I move to a job where the internet is monitored, until then I'm staying here getting paid to argue.

Been here 3.5 years and probably browsed a few months before signing up. I check FT a few times a day, every day, but I've averaged less than 5 posts a week. Definite lurker!

I feel sometimes I should do a bit more lurking and a bit less posting.

We all feel the same Webbo. :P

Joined here cos my brother used to frequent it.

Don't think I lurked too much before then.

Posted a hell of a lot through uni years.

It annoys the shit out of my missus how much time I spend on here.  She has her soaps, I have my Foxestalk.

I get involved sometimes, but pretty much lurk.

I do wonder how some people manage to spend so much of their time posting on here?  I want a job like your's.

I'm on here everyday pretty much but I hardly have anything useful to say. I'm here mainly to witness the mad bantz in the tinder thread.

Ive been lurking in this site for yearssss. Seeing as i live in Canada i dont feel i can contribute as much to the main leicester forum as i only see he boys play if they happen to be on tele or in person. Ive seen them twice (2006 and the opener against everton last season).

When we were in the championship i virtually never got to watch any games on tele but since we made the move up a division i can catch maybe 20 games in the season. And with streaming being more available i can find more games.

I post more in this general section but a big time lcfc fan. Some great posters on here in general. Next time i come to england maybe i can catch a game with a few of you. My brother lives up in chesterfield and tries to make ot to a few games in the season.

Back to my lurking...

Your last paragraph pretty much sums it up and I often think the same thing.

Most of my lurking is on the transfer news section at the minute as I have nothing to add and just want to have a nosy at who we are linked to. Using the phrase 'linked to' very loosely of course.

Spot on.

I am amazed that someone working can have 10,000, or 20,000 posts and still hold down a job.

I don't think I post all that much, but when I do, it comes in peaks and troughs, which usually correlate with insomnia, days off or "working" from home....

Unless they don't do much at work, i.e. do it behind boss's back etc, or self-employed.

I am retired so I am entitled to waste my time  posting on Foxtalk or anywhere  I please. I do wonderat those that criticsise those not working, yet admit to be interacting on FoxesTalk whilst partaking  in staff meetings. Giving the excuse that the issues raised in the meeting are not relevant to their position in the company. So  they can ignore any discussion that is not related to their department whilst feasting  on the freebie coffee, sarnies and chocolate cupcakes and posting on FoxesTalk about the lazy unemployed feckers that sit around all day posting on message forums.

Blimey, Rince, have you got toothache?

I have a job and don't post at work so my post count is even more pathetic.

I died of a lack of oxygen and punctuation reading that post.

Edited   just for you although apart from a couple of typos I saw no need to add too much punctuation. There may have been a too long sentence in there that is all. I have seen worse from others.

Post more than lurk, more than usual like today due to unemployment (no, I'm no Lamby, I'm actively looking).

No point being on here if you just want to read what others say, it's a discussion website.
