I'm not sure I want this fella at our club with his attitude etc

Have a feeling he would be a massive flop anyway

Mind you hope I'm proved wrong of course

I see what you're saying but I like to think attitudes can be changed. We need to sell him the owners' vision. Make him feel an important part of the project. I hope that can at least be put to him. He looks the real deal.

What attitude is this lad supposed to have?

The only thing I can see is that he wants to play at a higher level for less money. Not a bad trait to have.

It's just unfortunate we're on the receiving end

Which gives rise to the question of whether International want or can afford to keep him if they have accepted our offer already.

If a parent club wants to sell a professional footballer who is on their books, isn't it what a professional footballer does to move to the club who meets what the parent club is asking for? The Kante transfer being a case in point. Player preferred Marseille. Not where he ended up!

All part of the game as his club and him puff out their chests.

Anything else would weaken his position.

As I've said before it's a blinking contest.

Yeah he might be happy, but the fookers who own his ass and want their cut won't - he will go where he is told. fact

and do you want a player that does not want to be here at all?

If he's a pro and wants to continue enjoying playing for his country, or have an eye on moving to club with the stature of the big boys in the league, he'll work out that he'll have to get over himself and put in a shift. That's what it'll come down to. Sulking long term will harm the player's career.

I'm keeping my finger's crossed that he'll be a fox by the end of this window. Have to admit though that a bigger club might match our offer before then if he's as good as what we think he might be. That would spell the end of it for us.

Little bitch is going to get a lesson in reality over this. I'm not sure BL have even made an official bid for him.

Least he'll be a bit closer to BL when he signs for us.

Boo hoo he can't get the move that he wants because his preferred club is €5.2m short of the asking price.

If he's that desperate to play for them perhaps he should make the short fall up from his own pocket and if he hasn't got enough money he can play for BL for free for a couple of seasons why his wages go to Internacional.

His contact runs out in June 2018 so Internacional can play hardball for longer than he can.

He'll just have to suck it up.

Easiest outcome for inter (and the player) is for BL to up their bid. They might not need to match it but only get closer.

This could run until 1st September, Inter have no real incentive to cave in to a lower bid yet (if at all).

Why the fvck doesn't he just come here, stay with us for a year and he'll be in the limelight of all top clubs across Europe?

Seems like a bit of an idiot to me.

Anyway, lets put this to bed now, boring us all to death.

It'd be amazed if he ended up staying at Internacional. He's playing hard ball to move to BL but the simple fact is they haven't got the money,

I'm sure he's got nothing personal against us but we need to take our blue tinted specs off and realise we're up against a CL side from a league just as strong as ours and he wants to go there. He might be an Internacional fan and doesn't just want to leave them for money and wants to make the right move for him. It's his career he has every right.

If we're willing to be patient, he'll soon realise that BL isn't a viable option because his current club want the money Leicester are offering and BL can't match. He also won't be allowed to stay because the club will want him to leave because of the money we're paying,

I think that's the likeliest scenario. BL up their bid to about €13m and they accept.

Bidding €9.8m when the price is €15m is a piss take and Internacional will feel like they are being bullied by BL.

This one will run for another four weeks IMO.

We should buy him and loan him out to BL if they can't afford him, then we can close this feckin thread........

He not an Inter fan, he's from Chile.

By saying he'll "happily stay at Inter" looks an obvious bluff to me. He's 26 and needs to be playing in Europe, he can't afford to mess about for another year or two.
