Kitchandro Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Think the Italian paper 'La Gazzetta' is pretty reliable. I may be wrong though. It's the main sports paper in Italy, think the racing post here.
ARM1968 Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 To be honest if Inler comes and we already have Kante then Aranguiz needs to man up, wise up and jump before the boat leaves port. Otherwise he'll be left in the village with only a needle to play with.
Wymsey Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 I'd prefer Inler, due to the level of international experience he has. Might sound odd, but he's probably played against countries that have the same style as the PL. With Aranguiz, it's quite a no-goer as he understandably wants to move to more of a lucrative club who are more likely to win trophies.
FoxinNotts Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 It's the main sports paper in Italy, think the racing post here. Cool. I've said it before; Inler over the Chilean for me.
ARM1968 Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 BL probably have less chance of winning a cup than we do. Sure they'll compete in their league but won't win it. They'll compete in the Champions League but won't win it. Playing in the CL does make them bigger than us in that respect, but we're on a mission and who knows where it will take us. If we end up with Kante and Inler I'll take that happily. However I believe Aranguiz could push us up a few more notches.
mozartfox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Come on Guys, we need more waffle. crap and bull shit on this, or we will fall short of a 100 pages.
Mike Oxlong Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Come on Guys, we need more waffle. crap and bull shit on this, or we will fall short of a 100 pages. Did you know that Charles is the younger brother of Conchita Wurst.
mozartfox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Steady - Conchita is an Icon in my part of the World. You ask Fuchs.

luke the fox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Come on Guys, we need more waffle. crap and bull shit on this, or we will fall short of a 100 pages. Maybe on the second earth that NASA found we might be a club that attracts the best players rather than repelling them, Thoughts?
filbertstreet Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Maybe on the second earth that NASA found we might be a club that attracts the best players rather than repelling them, Thoughts? nah he'll sign for Moon Aston Villa
ARM1968 Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Webbo - agreed 100%. Champions league will probably be out of Our grasp forever, breaking in to the top 4 is almost impossible.

You're probably right, but it wasn't that long ago that Chelsea and Man CIty fans would have said exactly the same thing.
katieakita Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 You're probably right, but it wasn't that long ago that Chelsea and Man CIty fans would have said exactly the same thing. No, most of their fans have only been following them for about a decade.
Steve Earle Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 This has always felt as likely as Cruyff joining in the seventies. But it's impossible to discount it 100%! What a statement signing it would be...
st albans fox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Let's not kid ourselves - if he were such a prize, one of the big teams would have bought him. L'pool and Spurs are hardly overflowing with decent midfielders ?? Yes he could be v good but in a dfferent continent, he will be a risk, whoever takes him
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 I'd prefer Inler, due to the level of international experience he has. I'd prefer Inler too, has the leadership our midfield needs and being an experienced player in Europe will probably settle quicker and easier than Aranguiz. Young South American talent seem to be very unpredictable in the English game. Inler for me... if we can't get both
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Slightly greater risk but potentially massive reward with Aranguiz. He'd sell for really big money next summer but, even more than that, it'd help put us on the map as a destination for players wanting a move to the big clubs. I think this reputation has helped Southampton. Oh, and it's still not happening in a million years.

Sindidragon Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 We got Benaloune and Kante....at last ...its official
whitlock Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 @Zizouology: Agent Jorge Machado: "Let us wait and see what happens. Leicester City still maintain their offer to both Internacional and Aránguiz."
Babylon Posted 3 August 2015 Author Posted 3 August 2015 @Zizouology: Agent Jorge Machado: "Let us wait and see what happens. Leicester City still maintain their offer to both Internacional and Aránguiz."ho ho... This could get good!
