EnderbyFox Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 "In short: Leicester, so far, made the best offer, but Aránguiz doesn't want. Bayer offered less, but c/the will of the player." Come on Charles, Vichai will let you fly the jet
Babylon Posted 29 July 2015 Author Posted 29 July 2015 You'd have thought so wouldn't you!! Fvckin ridiculous if this is the case! Surely the players representatives know his intentions - exactly where he'll go and where he wont go! There is more than one person involved in this, two parties want him to go to the highest bidder. One party wants him to go to Bayer... unfortunately for him that party doesn't hold his registration, the others do. That's before you even start thinking about there being multiple agents, who is to say the bloke negotiating with Bayer is the only agent working to broker a transfer. You often see agents pitching deals to win clients etc. It's a complicated transfer, the joint ownership thing is a massive plus for us as they often wield much power over the players.
Ozwin Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 It's like when your misses can't decide wether or not she wants to buy that top from Topshop so goes round every bleedin' shop in the centre of Leicester until she decides yeah, actually she wants the original. Come on Aranguiz. Stop pissing us about, we want to get a McDonalds and go home.
sdb Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Some mediocre Championship midfielder is gonna get a nice juicy contract off us in a few weeks. Painful.
lgfualol Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 At least he can be the first new Leicester player to cry in his "welcome to Leicester" pics.
jimmeh Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 I don't even think this aranguiz would fit in the premiership anyway and if he does it would take a while.
Gerard Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 I went to bed buzzing last night as I thought if we get Aranguiz the next transfer will follow more easily and now I'm depressed again. I'm certainly not going to knock the club for aiming so high, our strike rate is crap but our targets exciting. Maybe we need to buy the best 21-22 year old from South America that are on the radar of big clubs but they're more observing right now rather than buying. I hope we don't end up spending a fortune on someone like Will Hughes.
EnderbyFox Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 I don't even think this aranguiz would fit in the premiership anyway and if he does it would take a while. Why do you think he wouldn't fit?
Babylon Posted 29 July 2015 Author Posted 29 July 2015 I don't even think this aranguiz would fit in the premiership anyway Based on? It's not much, but the videos I have seen he's really combative. Loves a tackle and isn't afraid to put his foot in.
Brazilian Guy Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Heard the wages offered to Aránguiz by Leicester is £50k/w

Master Fox Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Some mediocre Championship midfielder is gonna get a nice juicy contract off us in a few weeks. Painful. This. We're an absolute abomination now. We deserve everything that's coming to us. Bunch of desperate chancers. Epic losers on a huge scale. Thanks Top. I'd rather have Milan back tbh
Brainy Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Heard the wages offered to Aránguiz by Leicester is £50k/w Thanks. Do you know anything else Brazilian Guy?
Babylon Posted 29 July 2015 Author Posted 29 July 2015 Thanks. Do you know anything else Brazilian Guy? Before anyone starts, he is actually from Brazil. Just so you know.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Heard the wages offered to Aránguiz by Leicester is £50k/w We were paying our Turkish international 43k yonks a go. We need to dig deeper
Stevosevic Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Heard the wages offered to Aránguiz by Leicester is £50k/w F**k it Top, double it. Leverkusen would need to offer about 75k euros a week to match our current offer....
Brooksy Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Before anyone starts, he is actually from Brazil. Just so you know. Bet it's qwerty using one of those hide my IP address programs
benpicko Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 'Aranguíz has settled with Leicester. Take the shirt from Cambiasso in the Premier League.' Is this guy anybody?
ClaphamFox Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 This. We're an absolute abomination now. We deserve everything that's coming to us. Busch of desperate chancers. Epic losers on a huge scale. Thanks Top. I'd rather have Milan back tbh Don't be silly. What's happening is more or less the same as last summer. If the media reports at the time were correct, we tried very hard to attract a number of top players then but were repeatedly knocked back, probably because we're simply not as well known or respected as the clubs we were competing against. One year later we're still in the Premier League but our 14th place finish has probably done very little to dent that image. The suggestion that all these players would have joined us if Pearson was still here is to conveniently ignores the basic fact that, at present, we're not well known or highly regarded enough to easily attract the kind of players we want. Whether we have Pearson, Ranieri or somebody else in charge, that's the reality we're dealing with. You can't blame the owners for trying to attract top talent. They are ambitious and want us to be an established top 10 Premiership club. But we're not there yet and are probably going to get knocked back a lot of times before we hit the jackpot. To assume that all would be different if Pearson was still in charge is to indulge in the worst kind of self-flagellating retro-fantasy.
Max Power Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 "Issue for the business Aránguiz: taxes. A proposal for 15M becomes of 22,5M euros in fees. Only English have bullet in the needle" We've got the bullet in the needle and the village.
jimmeh Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Based on? It's not much, but the videos I have seen he's really combative. Loves a tackle and isn't afraid to put his foot in. Because so many south Americans don't settle
Ric Flair Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 It's on, it's happening. I can feel it, nothing will stop this now.
