Stevosevic Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 "@TheSharpeEnd: ...but then he would say that, as he is the one trying to push the deal through to Bayer Leverkusen. https://t.co/fxKX2mkG2Q" Fair point?
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Now reports that deal between Leic and Inter is almost 'done'. But deal will only be completed if player is happy. Only way this will go through is if we offer the player a financial package that he simply cannot refuse
Gerard Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Our negotiators must be dog shit. You could add any name and get the same story, in the end they never comebto fruition. It's looking grim guys and girls. Do you think its because we are still trying to offer everyone 10p a week? We really need to up the anty if we are going to actually land some quality players. I think we have been offering bigger transfer fees and wages but because of the calibre of player we are going for we're always the least attractive suitors. You can't blame the club or the negotiators. What is alarming that Kante appears to be going West Ham at the drop of a hat but wouldn't consider us a month a go. Are we really that far behind West Ham? We're the ugly girl in the nightclub that no one wants but if you just got to know us we have a lovely personality.
EnderbyFox Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 So it's Jorge Machado on our team vs Andre Cury on Bayers. Thank God Jorge is on our side I've heard he's the Harvey Specter of footballing negotiations
queensguardfox Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Get on the bus! off the bus! get back on the bus!!
Guest Mee-9 Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 No one has a clue whats going on. We do know this though, that Grayson Perry bloke will be rocking his speedos on Rio beach this week whatever happens.
lgfualol Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 "@(null): According to Machado, between Inter and Leicester is virtually a done deal. But business will only be closed with the will of Aránguiz". **** sake. I'm imagining aranguiz holding onto a lamp post and some blokes trying to pull him off so he can board his flight to East Mids.
MPH Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Why would his agent meet with us if he has no interest in joining us? Surely you would find out if the player wanted to come first before flying out all the way to Brazil So we can be played like Caen played us ( or tried to ) over N'Golo in trying to get Marseille to up their offer, id imagine?
Gerard Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Surely you would find out if the player wanted to come first before flying out all the way to Brazil You can imagine Aranguiz and his team laughing at us behind our backs on what they knew was always going to be a wasted journey.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 **** sake. I'm imagining aranguiz holding onto a lamp post and some blokes trying to pull him off so he can board his flight to East Mids. Not sure this would help, but would be worth a try
Ed25 Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 only been around 3 different sources saying he has no interest in coming to us then...people still think he will come
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 This will still happen why are you so confident?
MPH Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Ok Thais... nows your chance that you are serious in wanting the best talent. Offer this guy a package that he can not refuse....
EnderbyFox Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Not sure this would help, but would be worth a try
FireFox Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 only been around 3 different sources saying he has no interest in coming to us then...people still think he will come Not really. He wants to play in Europe. He preferred Germany over Leicester, "wasn't really interested in us". But if it is between staying where he is and Leicester, he will probably join us.
Babylon Posted 29 July 2015 Author Posted 29 July 2015 only been around 3 different sources saying he has no interest in coming to us then...people still think he will come We might not be his first choice, but the people who own his registration have already said he goes to the highest bidder or stays where he is. This is a murky world of joint ownership, multiple agents etc... all trying to get as big a slice of the pie as they can. It's not quite as simple as he said he's not interested, so it won't happen.
roblcfc84 Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Ok Thais... nows your chance that you are serious in wanting the best talent. Offer this guy a package that he can not refuse.... In a roundabout way isn't that how we lost Big Nigel
ronnup Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 If he does now... He's going to be miserable and disappear in 12 months.
psychonaut Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Surely you would find out if the player wanted to come first before flying out all the way to Brazil You'd have thought so wouldn't you!! Fvckin ridiculous if this is the case! Surely the players representatives know his intentions - exactly where he'll go and where he wont go!
Guest MattP Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Are we the ugly bloke in the bar that buys every girl a drink in the hope one of them might just give us a gobble?
Darkon84 Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 So it's Jorge Machado on our team vs Andre Cury on Bayers. Thank God Jorge is on our side I've heard he's the Harvey Specter of footballing negotiations Nice reference
benpicko Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Just pretend we're in the Champions League and don't let him check until we've signed, that's exactly what a good negotiator would do
